15.01.2022 NO WATER? NO WORRIES! The issue of water security has become so critical that Badgebup pig farmer Tony Richardson has installed a desalination unit to help d...rought-proof his business. It processes around 200,000 litres of salty ground water each day providing 60,000 litres of fresh water for his pigs. "We ran out of water two years ago so looking into desalination looked economically viable," Tony says. "It drought-proofs our farm to a certain extent."

08.01.2022 Sheep lice may be tiny but the financial burden they place upon the industry is gargantuan. With a cool dry season almost upon us, producers cannot afford to ignore this bio-security threat.

02.01.2022 When your at breaking point, just about to give up on it all. Just think about that msg a mate sent you out of the blue that made you feel loved, that hug from... a mate you havent seen in ages, those pure moments of joy with a niece or nephew, the feeling of starting a new relationship, the moment of admiration when your grandparents tell you a story from their youth and the those moments of pride when you accomplish something wether it be big or small. Think of those moments wether they be a few weeks or months or years ago and remember that no matter how hard it gets and how easy it seems it would be to give up. You will never get these moments again if you do, that alone is what keeps my head above water. If we, that struggle continue to push on, we create waves that will help others that struggle.
