20.01.2022 Prime Physiotherapy COVID 19 countermeasures Dear valued clients, At this stage there is no reason to delay or suspend your physiotherapy treatment with us.... We have developed thorough policies and procedures, according to the NSW and Federal Department of Health guidelines, to prevent our clients from being exposed to COVID 19 whilst attending our practices. Our clients enter and leave our practice with sanitised, clean hands with our staff directing you to use our sanitiser dispensers upon entering our practice and again following completion of your treatment session. The surfaces you touch in the reception and treatment areas are regularly cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant. Treatment tables, pillows, face cushions and exercise equipment and cleaned between each client. Door handles, chairs, reception desks and EFTPOS devices are regularly disinfected throughout each day. Our staff thoroughly clean their hands, using soap and water and/or hand sanitiser between each client contact according to best practice infection control guidelines. If one of our physiotherapists develops a fever and respiratory symptoms they will be kept off work and tested for COVID 19, only returning to work once cleared by their GP. We ask our clients not to attend our practice if they have returned from overseas in the last 14 days, or they have been in close contact with a known case of COVID 19, or if they have a fever and respiratory symptoms. Hydrotherapy and our group based exercise (Pilates) classes are continuing. Regular disinfection of equipment and keeping social distancing procedures during classes will further safeguard any risk. If you are uncomfortable with continuing with a group session, please let us know and one on one sessions can be arranged. We take our duty of care to our valued clients seriously. 09.01.2022 We are now offering Telehealth Video Consultations for patients who are self-isolating or for those who are simply just worried about attending. There is strong evidence that demonstrates the use of Telehealth consultations as being effective in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions. EPC referrals can be taken and bulk billed. All major private health insurers are on board with Telehealth. Workers compensation is also able to be billed via Telehealth. Please note our Green Valley and Moorebank locations are still OPEN for face to face consults.
