04.01.2022 This was a timber silo, that was used to store grain near Manildra. It was quite interesting on how it was built. The boards laying on their sides were slotted in the vertical posts. No use of nails or bolts. There was an angled piece of tin laying between each board to stop the grain falling out. The silo was pulled down for safety reasons. It was all made from iron bark, which I am now using to make furniture with. The timber is coming up beautiful.
