25.01.2022 **Attention Patients** Medicare has extended telehealth item numbers for a further six months, until March 2021, which means that we are able to continue to offer these appointments to our patients. The government has ceased to pay the emergency COVID telehealth payments and has encouraged practices to return to their normal billing practices for these appointments.... For most patients this means that there will be a gap to pay for telephone consultations with your doctor. As of the 1st of November 2020, Patients who book a telehealth appointment with their doctor will be charged the usual gap payment of $35.00 or $25.00 for pension card holders. Reception will take this payment over the phone at the time of your booking. Please see our website for our billing policy. www.princessparkclinic.com.au Kind Regards, PPC Team
