Kunal Kamra, a comedian unlike any other, will perform in Brisbane on 28 February 2020. A contemporary political comedian by nature, Kamras jokes typically draw laughs while taking digs at politicians and parties. While most comedians tend to steer clear of any political jokes, Kunal Kamra is known for his... unabashed style of comedy that entertains the audience while highlighting important issues prevalent in the country. Hailing from Mumbai, Kamra quit his job in advertising to pursue a career in stand-up comedy in 2013. He runs a highly popular political-comedy podcast called Shut Up Ya Kunal on Youtube. He has appeared on multiple comedy shows around the country. 15.01.2022 I received an email from a couple this afternoon who were looking for a venue for next weekend. Unfortunately the Princess Theatre is booked out. I was so saddened by their story because they were all sorted for their wedding, but last night Binna Burra Lodge was burnt to the ground. A beautiful heritage listed venue is now gone. Our hearts go out to the owners and staff. What a tragedy stay strong and rebuild. And to Scott and your partner we trust that you will find the right location.

As the current owners it is our hope that this amazing piece of history passes into the hand of someone who will continue to lovingly restore this little lady. It’s been a big decision, and we have developed a thriving business, but it time. Our hope is that the venue will continue to be used and enjoyed by the community for many years to come.
