25.01.2022 Utterly delicious crunchy seedy sourdough topped with chia and filled with pumpkin. 50/50 spelt/kamut flour. Best toasted sandwiches that wont turn into fairy bread in the press. Bread innards, essentially the same recipe, the left had a higher hydration and less seeds but included pumpkin compared to the loaf on the right.
23.01.2022 Special request for a traditional sourdough Cypriot bread which had olives, onion and mint. I wasn't sure what the outcome was going to be but apparently delicious according to my happy customer

20.01.2022 2 kg of gnocchi sorted. Years ago my first attempts failed big time and I basically made Perkins Paste out of the dough (showing my age)... I had all but given up when I watched Giorgio Licatelli make it on one of his cooking programs. I realised you had to be gentle and not overwork the dough. I raced out and bought his book and it's never failed since. Happy Sunday and Buon Appetitto!

18.01.2022 I have had a few goes at baking sourdough bagels but have to say by appearance at least, these look the best batch so far! Toppings include poppy seed, sesame, Nigella seed with caraway abd truffle pecorino. Yummo!!

05.01.2022 It feels like forever since I made a cake. This was a speciality order for a traditional German Frankfurter Kranz Cake. Layers of vanilla sponge, raspberry jam and buttercream covered in almond Krokant praline. Ive made this cake for this customer before so happily had an idea where to start!
