25.01.2022 It can be overwhelming and a little scary trying something new or getting back into exercise after some time off....but weve got your covered! Swipe to see the different classes on offer at Principle Movements -> Beginners:... Those who are new to Pilates will feel most comfortable attending a Matwork or Reformer class. We go over all the fundamentals and provide a variety of levels for you to choose from, so you can work at your own pace. After at least two Matwork classes, you can progress to Circuit. Advanced: If you are looking for a challenge and have used reformers before then Circuit or Reformer classes are for you. Circuit gets the heart rate pumping and Ash will keep you on your toes in a reformer class... you never know what you are going to get. 23.01.2022 Reformer and equipment workouts are amazing, but sometimes all you need to do is bring it back to basics with an amazing matwork session. Pilates matwork is an excellent starting point for anyone new to pilates, getting back into exercise, recovering from injury or just wanting to work on their foundations. There is nowhere to hide on the mat, so we utilise our core for everything we do, therefore developing deeper core strength without even knowing it.... 21.01.2022 @muddlenic survived 50 classes @principle_movements! When I first started Pilates with Ash I had been experiencing persistent lower back pain everyday since I had my 3rd child. I like to keep fit and healthy but I found a lot of higher intensity workouts would actually make it worse so I wasn’t enjoying them... I can now confidently say that I don’t have any back pain anymore!! I have so much more movement in my spine and my posture is so much better! I have noticed nice lea...n muscle tone appearing all over my body - especially my abs but the best results have been the incredible butt lift that’s happened!! Wow!! Slow Flow is a gentle, all levels yoga practice designed to stretch and lengthen your body and bring stillness to your mind.... This class will combine meditation, a gentle floor yoga flow, and yin yoga poses to nourish, restore and rejuvenate your body and mind. 11.01.2022 Our first New Moon Gathering is Wednesday. It also happens to be a dark moon, meaning there will be no moon visible in the sky Traditionally, this is a time of introversion and rest.... Its a good time for spells that ask for peace and creative flow. Experienced witches can use this moon for powerful healing, through positive hexing. Join myself and yoga teacher @_becrussell as we gather under the new moon to share energy and create some magic together. Using the power of the new moon, as it transitions from yin energy into yang energy, is the perfect time to set your intentions for the month ahead and beyond. Bring your favourite journal and pen along as we set our intentions together. How it will work We will open the space by moving through a centering meditation. We will then explain how to set your intentions, and allow you to tune in and ask yourself; What is it that I desire? What would I like to call in? You will use what you discover to set your intentions. Next we will move through a yin yoga practice to invoke our connection to the divine feminine and the energy of the new moon. Your yin yoga practice will allow you to create space in your physical body, cultivate Prana (life force) in your energetic body, and release any stagnant energy you may be carrying. We will close the practice with a restoring and healing meditation. Theres so much power and wisdom when women gather together and connect with the cycle of nature. There is a huge amount of exercises you can perform on the chair and it also has springs for added resistance ... Might be my new favourite apparatus Have you tried a Wunda Chair before?

Yoga on the Jetty is now running on Saturdays at 8am at Coral Sea Resort Hotel Welcoming Spring Yin & Restore 90 minute class is on this Saturday 10am at Proserpine Community Centre New Moon Gathering is running on Wednesday 16th September at 5:30pm at Principle Movements with myself and Ashleigh from Principle Movements I have also opened up 1:1 Balance, Restore and Clear sessions which Im really excited about!
