23.01.2022 Vehicle came in with loss of power, we removed top cover of the intake manifold and found large deposits of carbon. We removed and cleaned manifold, then reinstalled it. If your vehicle is running rough, has high fuel consumption or lacking power, bring it in to Pringles Auto for an inspection. To book in give us a call on 4921 0001.

19.01.2022 Another one of our customers came in with their vehicle running rough. The injectors were then removed and tested and it was found out that they were faulty and not up to spec. We then fitted 4 new injectors, cleaned out the injector seats, replaced the O-rings and washers, and also clean the tappet cover. 14.01.2022 A manifold intake came in with oil and carbon build up. We cleaned it up and replaced the injectors as they were out of specification. A prevent oil catch can was also fitted into the customers car, to help stop oil vapour that causes carbon build up in the intake and engine. For anyone asking if we are still open with COVID-19 going around. The answer is YES we are still open. We are still using precautions. 02.01.2022 First car of the year. Our customer came in complaining about white smoke and having high fuel consumption. After doing some investigation, it was noticed that the manifold and injectors would need to be removed and cleaned. Once we were sure that everything was cleaned properly. It was reassembled and while we were there we also fitted an oil catch can. We then took it for a test drive to see if there were any other problems and retested the injectors. And as you can see... the readings went back to normal. If you have any problems like this or know someone who does. Or just need a set of injectors checked.
