25.01.2022 The Caped Crusader! We really enjoyed printing bust of Batman by @eastman3d. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Printing with no infill and 3 wall lines was definitely a fun way to print this bust. Definitely will be painting this soon in a metallic colour to make it pop. This week we've got the sculpture of Julius Caesar by Andrea di Pietro di Marco Ferrucci which is currently on display permanently at the MET in New York. ------------------------------------------------------- Caesar is famous for his critical role the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire. He extended Rome's territory beyond the English Channel and Rhine and conducted the first invasion of Britain. ... ------------------------------------------------------- We had lots of fun with this print. 11.01.2022 We're starting a new series called Classic Print's! Ever week we'll be printing out classical pieces of art, statues or architecture. To start this series off we've got The Thinker! ------------------------------------------------------- Originally commissioned in 1880 but not officially created until 1904 by Auguste Rodin. This statue was based on Dante's "Divine Comedy". ... There are about 28 full sized casts in the museums around the world which were either made with Rodin's supervision or cast posthumously. ------------------------------------------------------- What do you think of our new series?
