In support of Save North Lakes Golf Course I will be once again conducting a sponsored walk around the North Lakes Golf Course on Sunday 9th August. The theme this year is simple, we are still here & IT’S NOT OVER! The Golf Course directly borders over 8km of our community and this wonderful linear park frontage remains at threat. Despite being closed the course remains intact, so to remind people of this and raise valuable add...itional funds for the ongoing legal fight, I will be circling the course via the closest public roads and footpaths, from sun up to sun down! Been a long time coming for this property, with a couple of failed contracts over the last few months with COVID-19 related complications. Nonetheless, we have kept faith in the property and the process and the great result has come.
