25.01.2022 Today has been rank statewide. There are 8 Ambulances and some extras ramped at the LGH tonight including NW crews who are doing lots of extra kms because of COVID.
25.01.2022 Ramping is bad at the RHH tonight. The crisis has not gone away.
25.01.2022 Monday night at the LGH was a bit busy. #fixramping #whereisyourclosestparamedic
25.01.2022 This was taken at the LGH last night, 5 patients ramped. #fixramping
23.01.2022 The RHH is at Level 4 right now and this is the state of the ramp - but there's nothing to see here, nothing at all...
21.01.2022 This is the Latrobe ambulance station’s new rest and recline space, where paramedics are expected to sleep overnight between jobs. On the recliner chairs. (It’s also the primary training room for the entire north and north west ambulance service.) Obviously this brand new station at Latrobe is already too small. Like Burnie, the eastern end of the NW coast needs a new ambulance station as well.
21.01.2022 7 Patients ramped at the LGH. #whereisyournearestparamedic
21.01.2022 We wrote to Ambulance Tasmania earlier today to inquire about what they are doing about fixing ramping and how they are doing with multiple other safety concerns. This was the RHH about midday today - no room at the inn, again! #whereisyournearestparamedic
20.01.2022 Ramping at the RHH all afternoon. This was taken at 8 tonight.
19.01.2022 LGH yesterday afternoon, #fixramping #fullhouse
19.01.2022 Seven ambulances ramped at the LGH this afternoon - that's most of the ambulances in the north of the state.
18.01.2022 The only thing keeping us going is that we’re so busy with patients or light-on for staff due to workers comp there’s rarely everyone there at once.
17.01.2022 We've seen this before right?
15.01.2022 Things are back to normal? This makes us sad! #fixramping #whereisyournearestparamedic
15.01.2022 This is the LGH at lunch time today, the ramping is described as "ever lasting" today. In a rare move yesterday, Paramedics had to use the 'Emergency Alarm' at the RHH , to get assistance from doctors and nurses, for a patient who despite being very ill, was ramped and had to remain in the care of paramedics whilst inside the hospital. #fixramping #fixhealth #whereisyournearestparamedic
14.01.2022 This is the state of ramping at the RHH this afternoon - and the LGH is no better. This should not be normal.
14.01.2022 This was the Royal Hobart Hospital earlier today. Right now, there are two ambulances ramped. There are currently 66 people in the Emergency Department at the RHH with 19 awaiting admission to the wards. There have been 114 presentations since 9 o'clock this morning and the RHH has just been escalated to Level 4.... This is the state of health.
11.01.2022 Shout out to all our fabulous health workers struggling to survive in these unprecedented times. Ramping hasn't gone away but the RHH DEM staff are smashing it today despite the arrivals load being way too high. Ambulance has been at 100%+ utilisation all afternoon. Stay safe and stay home if you can.
10.01.2022 It's a bit cold out, stay safe and warm if you can, avoid getting sick, it's cold on the RHH ramp... #whereisyournearestparamedic
10.01.2022 Ramping is bad at the RHH again today. Every ambulance stuck at the hospital is an ambulance away from its local area. #whereisyournearestparamedic
10.01.2022 The ramping and hospital overload continues at the Launceston General Hospital, which continues to absorb the relocation issues from the NW Coast. 6 of these Ambulances are ramped.
09.01.2022 Hobart's turn for Ramping. Tonight the RHH is at response level 4. Ambulance crews have been busy all day. Lots of people in the ED. Gonna be a long night. Stay safe everyone.
09.01.2022 At the time this photo was taken there was only one Ambulance in the Northern region ready to respond. One! The poor LGH is getting "flogged" again. Q. Where is your nearest paramedic? A. At the LGH if you live in the North...
08.01.2022 It's been a busy day in the South today. Most of the day there have been 8-12 patients waiting for an ambulance response. The ED staff have been in overdrive with crucial staff shortages. Unfortunately this flows back to increased ramping times. #fixramping
05.01.2022 They say one day ramping will end. We just don't know when that day will be. #whereisyournearestparamedic #fixramping #theresmoretherenow!
03.01.2022 The LGH earlier today, ramping was bad because of slow patient flow. We have significant concerns about the impact on Paramedics and all the health workers at other hospitals while the Mersey Hospital Emergency Department is on reduced hours.
