17.01.2022 As you know, here at PLSC we are very conscious about our environmental impact. Recently we have been looking for ways in which we can improve on our business practices. We are removing traditional *sticky* tape from our delivery boxes and moving to a more biodegradable packaging option for your orders to be sent in. It's a really important part of our business that we care for our Mumma Earth We can't wait to roll out this new initiative very soon!
17.01.2022 Our Label options are changing For some time now, we have had 3 options when it comes to choosing your labels for your skincare products. As we have grown, we have had to take the time to work on our processes and procedures and labelling was one area that wasn't serving us as a business. For this reason, we have made the decision to change over to unlabelled skincare. We will be working in unison with @longstoryshortprint who specialise in this area and they will be able... to help you create incredible labels to suit your needs. We will still be helping to ensure you have the correct sizing and legal requirements for your labels, we just won't have our in house printing available moving forward. We appreciate your understanding and hope this helps to make the process simple and easy

We're not in it just to make money (although that's does allow us to help serve more). We're also here to ensure we're making a positive impact on the environment, and are sustainable in our business practices. So when you're considering a skincare manufacturer sometimes, it's important to look at the whole picture.

15.01.2022 Caryna's September book club This month, Caryna would love to share with you one of her favourite books that changed her life. The book Get Rich Lucky Bitch by @denisedt made a profound impact on Caryna. She learnt the importance of decluttering to not only help to stop with overwhelm, but allow for more abundance through money. Caryna also learnt the important role that forgiveness plays in your ability to manifest money and how not only forgiving yourself for past mistakes, but also other's as well, can really change your life and what you can achieve. For some it's probably been the toughest year of your life, for others you may have found growth, purpose and experienced some form of a 're-birth' during the pandemic. 10.01.2022 On the blog -19 COVID-19 was not kind to Private Label Skincare (and don’t even get us started on the huge unsettling impact it had on our clients and friends in the beauty industry!) ...... Some of the companies we relied upon for ingredients couldn’t source them, and some of them became so bogged down by manufacturing hand sanitiser that we fell to the bottom of their ‘to do’ list. International shipping became unreliable and, after having far too many orders go missing or show up damaged (which was unheard of in the past!), we had to put it on hold. Many of our existing clients had to put their businesses on hold and as such, did not require our services. There was packaging that was no longer able to be sourced. And without packaging, there’s no products! I won’t lie - it was a scary time. What got me, and the company through though, was my mindset. 08.01.2022 Keep it simple, then build your brand Often we hear that a lot of beauty entrepreneurs don't make a start on their own skincare ranges because they have a belief that they need to create a range that does everything for everyone. Well, we are here to tell you, it doesn't have to be that way. Choosing a couple of 'hero' products and catering to the most common skin types or concerns, is a great way to make a start. ... For example, if you have another skincare range, but it currently doesn't have a particular product that clients ask for, this might be the product you could start with. You could choose a cleanser, moisturiser, toner, exfoliant and mask, which all skin types can use and benefit from. That way you have the ability to find what your clients fall in love with and then build the range further And if you want to go all in and cater to more skin types, we can help with that too, it really is up to you!

02.01.2022 Here at PLSC we are extremely passionate about sustainability and are conscious of our environmental footprint These are some of the simple but effective changes we are making to do better as a business: Over the coming months we will be beginning the switch to biodegradable packaging, using recycled boxes to package your orders, we have ensured all packaging for your skincare is recyclable (caps and bottles) and will be constantly looking for new ways to improve our sustainability
