14.01.2022 HEADACHES - these can be caused by tightness and tension to the levator scapula, which is the muscle that starts on the inside and top of the shoulder and leads up to the base of the neck. When you have this it can present as a headache that appears in the back of the eye or the forehead. If you feel you have tension in the neck (stemming from the shoulder blade) then try this exercise. Lay down with your arms down by your side and draw your shoulders back and down (without ...lifting your head off the ground as this will cause tension in the lower back). Hold this for up to 10 seconds, release for 10 seconds and repeat 10 times. The Role: The suitable applicant will have experience working in a medical practice and be familiar with medical terminology. They will work closely with the Exercise Physiologists in relation to the administrative needs of the practice including sending reports, invoicing, booking clients for appointments, taking payments through HiCaps,/Medicare/Eftpos, liaising with referrers and scheduling meetings with doctors. 02.01.2022 I have been working with clients with chronic pain for nearly 20 years and one of my biggest concerns is when practitioners spend their time providing symptom relief instead of finding the cause of the issue. All increases in pain can be tracked back to a trigger. Once you know the trigger you can reverse engineer a solution. If you are a client that has been on the treatment merry-go-round and are not getting results ask your practitioner the one simple question ...... Why? ... Why are they doing that treatment? Why have I not improved? Why am I experiencing these issues? Etc, etc. they should have an explanation or be able to help you in your journey to improve your pain management.
