21.01.2022 A client called to book me in for a service. Their unit is about 4 years old. They had always done the right thing and kept the filters clean and also vacuumed the indoor coil from time to time. They called me to take advantage of the $99 offer of a full service but advised it was more a health check of the refrigeration and electrical side as they always keep their unit clean. The photos are the colour of the water after i had cleaned it and fresh water in the some containe...r for comparison. It goes to show how much dirt can build up deep in the coil and on the fan barrel even when the exterior is clean. This was from a 5Kw unit which is a very common size in a standard sized home. I ask the question again: How is your heat pumps health?

10.01.2022 After a recent service, I was able to gain a 16 degree temperature increase on a 6 Kw wall mounted unit. Not only does servicing your heat pump give you cleaner air to breathe, but also increase efficiency which will reduce your overall running costs.
