09.01.2022 - I M P O R T A N T U P D A T E - We are committed to helping the Geelong community. In this extremely difficult time, the team at Procare Geelong are still available for osteopathic and myotherapy treatment in a reduced capacity. This is an ongoing decision made by the entire team and is revised on-the-go. The decision to stay open was made on the proviso that strict restrictions and health standards are adhered to. Any patient with viral or respiratory symptoms will not... be permitted in the building. Patients with pre-existing heart or lung conditions or immune compromised patients are asked to stay home. Extremely vigilant cleaning and sanitizing of all contact surfaces and objects. Social distancing is strictly adhered to. Practitioner availability has been drastically reduced ensuring that no patients will cross paths in the clinic. Staggered treatment times and extra time between treatments has been allocated to allow cleaning and sanitizing and to ensure that patients do not cross paths. All patients will wait in their cars. You will be greeted by your practitioner at the door and will be asked to wash your hands before proceeding to the treatment room. We will not be permitting cash, sorry. Staff committing to self-isolation outside the clinic and social distancing inside the clinic. We are committed to the health of our beautiful community. Please stay home if you are unwell and we look forward to a time when we can help you without these strict measures. For now, we will take all precautions to ensure your safety.

03.01.2022 Dear Patients, As a health practice, we always have strict policies in place to ensure the safety and health of our staff and patients. We do require increased caution at this time so would like to reassure you of the additional precautions we have put in place. In order to ensure the clinic remains a safe place to attend, we need to ask a couple of things of you:... - Please wash hands or use sanitiser upon entering the clinic. Given the nationwide shortage of hand sanitiser at present, we encourage you to utilise hand washing in the bathroom if able as this will effectively guard against the spread of Covid-19. - Please cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are at all displaying signs of being unwell (you will not be charged a cancellation fee). - Please cancel or reschedule your appointment if you have been in contact with anyone known to have the coronavirus, or if you have arrived home from ANY overseas flight in the last 14 days. On our part, we have stepped up our usual procedures to include measures such as: - Temporary removal of magazines and toys. - Removal of drinking glasses and replacement with disposable cups. - Removal of all reusable hand towels. - Sanitation of treatment tables, computer, chairs and door handles after each patient. - Our staff will not attend the clinic for work at the first sign of any respiratory illness. We are doing our best to continue to provide a service to our patients in a healthy and safe environment.
