20.01.2022 Member shout out This fella here deserves some big recognition. His ability to the train hard and to seek the uncomfortable is second to none and his willingness to push himself in a hard session until he almost spews. (More often than not he does) ... He is a great example of strong work ethic and we look forward to you taking your training and everything else to another level @joshstahlhut

20.01.2022 Hard work wins every time . You will often hear the phrase that Hard work beats talent . Whether it be in business, your athletic career, your corporate career or a physical challenge that you are about to attempt. No matter what the cause, there is always a common denominator and that is, those who are willing to put in the hard work are always going to be the ones who get the results... . Make sure your work ethic can not be questioned, embrace the challenge . #caloundra #sunshinecoast #beresilient See more

16.01.2022 A small Demo on how to DB Bench Press to protect your shoulders . Ques: 1. Shoulders bank and down towards your hips, this will create a small arch in your lumber spine which is a nice strong position. You should be able to slide your arm between your back and the bench. .... 2. Elbows at 45 degrees, (not at 90 degrees to the body) . 3. Feet below your hips, (not on the bench or on the floor out in front of you) . If your aim is to get stronger and build muscle? Spend more time under tension using different forms of tempo. . Quick reps are shit reps See more

13.01.2022 [SOUND ON ] A bit dramatic....But it's true. We are all capable of greatness..... If we want it bad enough.... Greatness doesn't have to mean being an Olympic athlete. Greatness is who you are when you are honoring your values and living a life of purpose. When you are stepping into your true self. What's holding you back? If it's your limiting belief, you can change.... ...and we can help. Prodigy is made up of a bunch misfits, we are Mums, Dads, Bakers, Tradies, Office Workers, Marketers, Musicians, Truck Drivers you know name we have got it. But the one thing that brings us together is the desire and work ethic to be better. Not just for us, but for those that are important to us. If your are in the same wave length book a free consult https://www.prodigyfitness.com.au/ *Video is from our monthly game day which is a team challenge often away from the gym. The voice over in this video is from Nike's greatness campaign.

10.01.2022 This November we want to give a huge shout out to this legend @joshstahlhut Tell us what drives you and why do you continue to smash us all with your results in the gym? Josh: I love to compete, I love being in the pain cave it’s a feeling you can’t get anywhere else. Once you are comfortable with it, it becomes an addictive feeling. I also know my mental game benefits hugely from regularly training not only in the gym but in everyday life! ... Mark: You have a background in AFL. How does this training help you towards your on field performance and why improvements would you like to see with your training? Josh: It gives my body a chance to be ready to compete on game day, the strength and conditioning side of things gives you a really good base to sustain throughout the season. Im always looking to better my training in lots of aspects but at the moment probably mobility and power through the lower body. Mark: What do you like about training here at prodigy mate? What do we do different that others could benefit from ? Josh: I like prodigy because the coaching staff are up there with the best in the game, they work with you and the goal or fitness level you want to get too. The community is it’s best value, no ones on the outer it doesn’t matter what fitness level you are at. We all get around each other! Mark: Is there anything else you would like to do career wise mate ? Josh: I can see myself in the coaching game at some point, whether that be a strength and conditioning coach or something to do with mental health, or both Mark: Where do you want to see you self in the next 12 months mate ? Josh: I don’t really put time limits on things, but I’m always looking to be a better version of myself so In a years time hopefully I’ve learnt a few lessons from this one! Mark: What do you have planned for us in the November challenge mate for movember ? Please Tell is your idea Josh: I’m pretty pumped about mental health, and movember being this month I’ve asked if we can round up 4 blokes and challenge ourselves to get out 100km on a rower bike or ski between us. All the money raised will go to the movember foundation which I’m stoked about!

03.01.2022 Member of the month This month we want to give praise and recognition to Heidi Blackwood-Sewell She always lights the place up with her smile and gives her best to everything she does!......... First of all legend we just want to say that we appreciate your commitment well done for your efforts over the last couple of years. Your mindset towards training has really shifted since you first started with us Q. You are easily the strongest woman in the gym. Where would you like to see some improvements with your training? I’d never even thought about that, there are some amazingly strong women here. I have some techniques that need improvement, and also need to push myself with non-weight exercises like double unders, and pull/chin ups. Practice makes perfect... Q. What would you enjoy most? Eating for performance? Or eating for weight loss ? I love all eating! I’m from an era where eating for weight loss meant cottage cheese, Ryvita crackers, and grapefruit. I’ve been unlearning all that and realizing nutrition for life includes all food groups in the right amounts, and not to beat myself up after a donut with my kids. They (our children) see so much of what we do, so what they see needs to be a healthy attitude to all food and what we put in our bodies. Q. We have definitely evolved as a business in the last 12 months so what’s the best thing about Prodigy for you? I have loved Prodigy since my very first day. Three venues later, and there is still the core feeling of how much we are valued by you guys, and how much we all appreciate the (and I know it is super cheese) but the vibe, family, connection, between everyone is so good. So many different types of people, all with different reasons, working hard for their goals! Also, a healthy 10kg weightloss over the 2 years, with a huge increase in my strength is ace! Q. What has been some challenges for you? Ummmm... occasional injuries. I’m not good at resting and letting myself heal. I get a bit of ( more cheese) FOMO when I have to miss a session. Luckily, you guys are always able to change the plan for the injured so we can still get a good workout in. Q. Where do you want to see you self in the next 12 months ? In the next year, I’d like to be retired and sitting on a balcony somewhere watching the sun set with a glass of bubbles- now I need to check my Powerball numbers!! In the real world, I really miss my sisters (UK & USA) and their families, so some travel as soon as we can. In the gym goals, back to those double unders and pull-ups...
