20.01.2022 Very pretty Goulburn fish that ate a dry only 15 feet from the boat in 10 of water. Beautiful day in progress up here. Cloud and warmth. A hit in any fly fisher’s book.

18.01.2022 I don’t know what to say... My man Matthew Faure, 23kg. Day 1. Mid-West Safari

17.01.2022 Some photos of today’s kids fishing clinic. We have got some champs in the making with their casting today

16.01.2022 One of my favourite things in the world is fishing to rising trout. It really doesn’t get much better than this.

15.01.2022 The Goulburn is a mess atm with daily jumps in the river height. We did get fish to eat our client’s dry flies yesterday but it was very difficult with branches... and TREES floating by. This is typical when the river comes up incrementally to levels it hasn’t been for months. Basically every branch, leaf, twig etc that has fallen since the last time the river was previously this height, is picked up and shipped express delivery downstream. Final destination unknown. So be careful if you head out there today as there are a few new log jams to avoid. We’re going to leave the river for a day or two in terms of guiding and just have a reccy ourselves. Have a great weekend and hope to see you all once lockdown ends.

14.01.2022 Set up for today’s kids fishing clinic, fingers for no rain. If you want your kids to learn how to fish or looking for something to do over the holidays visit us at Skills2fish.com or give us a call or text. Places are getting booked out so book early. #skills2fish

11.01.2022 Took some pics of a guy fishing at Breakaway Bridge on dark just now while waiting for one of the drift boats to get in. If you read this, please sing out as I ...have a few nice photos of you if you want them. Another beautiful night on the river. Even if the fish were being super-selective, a-grade, a-holes.

11.01.2022 It’s been an enjoyable few days on holidays fishing the Hinchinbrook Channel as part of the ANSA Queensland AGM hosted by Hinchinbrook Sportfishing Club. Lots o...f good memories including Amanda catching her first jack, which was a solid fish that fought hard and brother Luke taking out longest barra for the weekend and nailing a respectable 68cm fingermark on lure. Looking forward to guiding clients onto king, barra and saratoga in the month ahead and lending a hand with the Fitzroy River Barra Bash bought to you by Frenchville Sports Club

11.01.2022 Fishing in WA , you have got to love the ambiance and scenery we have on our doorstep. Book early to avoid disappointment for the Kids fish clinic during the School holiday, we still have places available for next week. #skills2fish

03.01.2022 Greetings from the river. Couldn’t ask for a better afternoon. Perfect temps, river has settled overnight and plenty of ants. Just stunning conditions for fishi...ng today, but if it’s any consolation to those in lockdown, and I know it’s not, tonight’s weather change will see us back to jumpers and waders tomorrow. Hang in there guys. We can’t be too far away now.
