24.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. As with everyone else we are still navigating through what we can and cannot do with the lock down beginning midnight tonight. Dog Grooming while highly important in keeping your furry friend healthy and happy, is not an essential service during this lock down. That unfortunately means that we will be cancelling appointments from tomorrow until Wednesday next week and possibly onwards until we are given the go ahead to resume when restrictions l...ift again. We're all standing together in this hard situation and we will come out stronger once it's done. We've just got to wait it out. We appreciate everyone's understanding with this and apologise for any inconvenience it may cause. Well be talking to you all again soon and seeing you and your fur babies once things settle down!

23.01.2022 The weather is heating up again this week and summer is fast gaining on us! We are booked out until the 3rd of December at this point and appointments are filling fast with the hot weather becoming more frequent. Raelene is trying to squeeze in as many dogs as she can each day but between her back and there just not being enough hours in the day she can only do so many... So please don't leave it to long to book in for the hot weather and the upcoming festive season as... once we're booked out, it will be a matter of a cancellation wait list! Christmas is only 4 Mondays away! You can book an appointment via the Message button on the page, call or text! If we don't answer please be patient with us, we will get back to you!
22.01.2022 Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year! We hope everyone has a great Christmas break, stay safe and enjoy the time with your family!
22.01.2022 What a bitterly cold start to the day! - 0.2 at 6:30 this morning. We had a good sheet of ice over everything here today but thankfully the sun came out and defrosted us all! We have appointments left for most days next week at this stage but they're filling fast these past couple weeks. Click the button below to send us a message!
21.01.2022 We are now booked out until Tuesday 15th of September! Please message or call us if you'd like an appointment next week. If we don't respond straight away, don't stress, we'll be in touch as soon as we can!
18.01.2022 Did we all make it through hump day Wednesday? How's everyone going now the kids are back at school? We have appointments left for Friday this week and most days next week for anyone needing an appointment.
15.01.2022 Due to upgrades to the network our phone line is currently down. Please message us through the page if you need to get in contact as upgrades are set to take place between the 15th and the 21st October. In the meantime, well be waiting for upgrades to be finished like this
15.01.2022 We have had a cancellation for boarding over the New Years period. We now have spots for two small dogs or one medium to large breed starting from the 27th of December onwards. Please get in contact with us if you're needing boarding over the New Years period.
15.01.2022 An update on Raelene recovery. Yesterday Raelene rang to let us know that due to the infection not clearing up with the IV antibiotics, the doctors have transferred her back to Flinders and she underwent surgery again yesterday to flush the wound and hopefully clear the infection. She will undergo further IV antibiotics post surgery to make sure the infection is cleared. Fingers crossed that this will nip it in the bud!
15.01.2022 Good morning everyone! Important information to follow News came through this week that Raelenes surgery has been scheduled for the 25th of January. This means that after Thursday the 21st of January (Next week) Raelene will be unavailable for grooming and boarding until further notice.... At this stage the doctors have said that post surgery she will be in hospital for recovery and rehab for a minimum of four to six weeks. We don't know yet when we will be back operating as of yet as this will depend on Raelene and how her recovery is proceeding. We have limited appointments available for the coming week and once these appointments are filled, we will be taking a cancellation list. Due to this, any no show or cancellation appointments will not be rescheduled. We will do our best to fit as many dogs as we can but it will be done by a first in best dressed basis. Please message the page, comment on this post, call or text us to book an appointment but please remember if we don't answer leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We will keep the page updated as often as possible regarding remaining appointments and Raelenes recovery post surgery. We thank everyone for their continued support and well wishes during this time. The team at Professional Dog Grooming
15.01.2022 To all of our valued customers and their beautiful pets. We wish to inform you that due to Raelenes health at the moment and the backlog of appointments we currently have to spread over the next couple of weeks there will possibly be a two to three week wait for appointment times. While we know that can be frustrating around this time of year as the weather changes and your fur kids begin to loose all that winter fluff and start to collect things from the garden, ...we also ask that you please be patient with us and if you're looking to book your dog in with us for grooming then please send us a message so we can get them in as soon as possible while factoring in possible wait times. Thank you to everyone who has booked ahead for upcoming appointments and we'll be back to you as soon as possible with a day and time. We are still available via messanger, text and phone call, if we miss your call please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible. Thank you everyone for your time, patience while we work through this. The team at Professional Dog Grooming
13.01.2022 No updates as of yet, we are waiting to hear how Raelene goes with the doctor this week. Here are a couple of photos of the gardens at Flinders hospital and Raelenes 'zipper', as she calls it!

11.01.2022 It's been a while since we last posted on the page and we know it's starting to look a bit ghostly in here.. Maybe a few cobwebs to remove from Halloween? We apologise for the lack of posts on here, everything has been a bit up in the air for us here at Professional Dog Grooming with Raelenes back injury.. We now have answers at to where her pain and lack of mobility has come from and it's not the best ... Raelene is stubborn though and she has said she will push on while she can as once she has had her surgery, some time in the next three months, it could be a bit of a wait until she's out of hospital and able to begin grooming again. The doctor says minimum of 4-6 weeks in hospital alone. We have appointments from Monday the 23rd of November at this stage. We are still waiting to hear an exact date Raelene will be heading in for surgery so she has asked that everyone keep in mind that appointments booked in advance may change if her doctor gives her a date in December. We are contactable via messanger using the button below or the call now button on the page! If we don't answer please leave a voicemail with your name and phone number and we'll call you back as soon as we can! You can also send us a text and we'll send you a reply with our available appointment dates or answer your questions!
10.01.2022 Scrolling through Facebook this morning we found a post of someone asking if $130 was to much for her small to medium sized dog to be washed and groomed out.. This is a small snapshot of the comments posted in reply to the post. What's the most ridiculous quote you've had on not only dog grooming but for something you've had done recently? ... Please remember to blur out buisness name or contact details. See more
10.01.2022 We have appointments open for tomorrow if anyone is in need of one. Raelene is unavailable from Thursday to Sunday this week so tomorrow is out last available day this week for appointments. Appointments start back again from 15th of September with potential for appointments on Monday 14th if enough interest.
09.01.2022 From all of us here at Professional Dog Grooming we want to wish all our clients, furry friends, page followers and everyone in between a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful, safe and happy 2021! We wouldn't be still here and running without your support over this very confusing and stressful year! It's nearly done now and we can't wait to see what 2021 brings us! We are booked out for boarding over the Christmas break and have only one spot left for the New Years break. ... We will be opening appointments between Christmas and New Years, dates being.. - 29th December - 30th December - 31s December These appointments are first in best dressed and our next appointment after New Years won't be until the 4th of January. We look forward to seeing you all again in the new year and hearing how your Christmas break was!
08.01.2022 Good morning everyone! A little update on appointments. At this stage we are taking a day by day approach to appointments due to Raelenes health and injury support. ... We will firstly be allocating appointments to those who we have had to cancel appointments for over the past week or so. We are also taking down everyone's names onto a list and as soon as we have an available spot we will message everyone to fill those spots, we will endeavour to do this in the order people ring or message for appointments wherever possible, we will also try and give as much notice as possible on available appointment times. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you, our clients, and your fur kids. We hope to be back to normal as soon as possible. We appreciate everyone's patience, support and understanding with this. Thank you, The team at Professional Dog Grooming
06.01.2022 We have appointments left for this week for anyone needing their dog groomed. We'd love to see a photo of the way your pampered pooch sleeps! Comment with a photo below if you'd like to share!
06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, A quick update on Raelenes recovery. So after a very heavy dose of IV antibiotics she's feeling a little bit better but still very tired and weak. Doctors are keeping a close eye on her wound to make sure the infection is clearing up as it should. She's due to have some more bloods and scans in the coming week and hopefully the doctors will have a better idea when she can come home. She says thank you to everyone who has messaged, text or called to see how she is..., she appreciates it As soon as we know more we will share news here. We apologise for the long time between updates.
05.01.2022 Good afternoon ladies, gentlemen and furry followers! Raelene is beginning to start opening appointments on a day by day approach over the course of the week. We are working through our list and trying to open as many appointments as possible for those people that have been waiting, while working around doctors visits. We appreciate everyone's patience while we work through this. Please let us know if you're needing an appointment and we'll add you to our list and let you know as soon as ones available!
04.01.2022 We've had a couple of afternoon spots open up for Monday if anyone would like an appointment. Day stays welcome!
03.01.2022 An update on Raelene As of early this week Raelene has been taken off the IV drip and put onto oral antibiotics, which come with their own risks and benefits. Doctors have been closely watching to make sure she's safe as the tablet can effect her heart. Now that she is off the drip antibiotics they have said she can come home. As of yet there hasnt been a plane available for her to be flown back, but she's hoping one will come up soon. We very much appreciate everyone's we...ll wishes and messages of support, thank you all it's helping to keep Raelene in high spirits because to her at this point the hospital stay probably feels more like two years then two months. She can't wait to get home and see familiar faces again and get back to doing what she loves. We look forward to talking to you all again soon and seeing you and your fur babies too See more
03.01.2022 It's almost Friday! Yay! How are you spending your long weekend?
02.01.2022 The next few days are going to be a hot With the temperature rising please remember to keep en eye on your pets! If you can't have them inside in the cool, please make sure they've got adequate shade and access to clean, cool (not cold) water to drink. Some dogs like to have a clam shell of water to splash in or a sprinkler to play under, others might be happy with a spot in the shade, some don't mind a bit of sun baking on a warn day!
