21.01.2022 #BREAKING: At midnight tonight, a raft of changes to SA’s COVID-19 restrictions will come into effect for at least two weeks: - Gyms, recreational & play centre...s will close - Community sport & training cancelled (outdoor fitness like boot camps can continue) - Funerals capped to 50 people, with one person per four square metres - Churches capped to 100 people - Private events at licensed venues capped at 50, with no stand-up consumption - Hospitality venues capped at 100, with one person per four square metres, no stand-up consumption and max bookings of 10 people - Private gatherings - 10 people per residence There has been no new cap placed on weddings, but guests will be required to register with the Communicable Disease Control Branch.
