25.01.2022 Another big day for the apprentice. But today the number 1 Boss turned up in the truck to cart the bricks away. Wurth started the day off with the usual pre start checks, and topped up the machines oil. ... Then proceeded to pull more of the house down and tidy up along the way. I can safely say, poor mummy is getting way too old to be the apprentices labourer! I'll sleep well tonight! But honestly, it's awesome that the 3 of us can work so well together. I'm very proud of our little demolition family!

25.01.2022 Another week and another piece of Ballarat's history came to rest here, at the Smythesdale Landfill Site. This week was also the Bosses wife's birthday. So what better way to spoil her on her special day, than with a romantic truck ride out to the tip! Every load of demolition rumble that Coffield the Wrecker carts away off each demolition job, all go to the correct EPA certified landfill site. Or recycling depot.... Each truck load is given a waste transport certificate from the landfill site to verify that each and every load of rumble and waste has been disposed of correctly and legally. Do you know if your demolition contractor disposes of your waste and rumble in an environmently correct manner? 18.01.2022 The apprentice was on the job again today! Today Wurth (4th generation demolition contractor), had the opportunity given to him, to pull down his first complete house, all by himself! No master demolition man to guide him (he was busy on another job). Just his mum, acting as his labourer and photographer yet again.... We are so proud of Wurth's accomplishments on the excavator. His work practice is precise, clean, safe and that of an accomplished machine operator. He's fully accredited and signed off as competent with Worksafe Victoria. This 14yr old has definitely been bred to be the next Demolition Man of Ballarat! But for now, he sits in second place behind his Dad and is most definitely the BEST Demolition kid in the area! If only he could drive himself to work!

16.01.2022 It was great to have good ol' Uncle Mick working alongside Wurth yesterday. Mick worked for Wurth's Pop, now he's back working with Wurth! Funny how things go full circle. ... Wurth was picked up nice and early this morning by his Uncle Mick for work. It'll be just those two working together today. 13.01.2022 Someone here at Coffield the Wrecker has a slight problem with her OCD when cleaning up scrap. I'm not sure if there's much space in between anything that has been strategically placed in the old bath tub. Luckily the excavators are home this weekend for grease and oil changes, cause I don't think the Bobcat will lift that bath!

09.01.2022 Another magazine highlight over the years of the Punisher. Our Big Mean Green Machines have graced many editorials, either printed or digital, over the years. The Punisher our first attempt at a show truck. And a green one at that! We had so many knockers over our choice of color to start with. ... Then people started contacting us nation wide to know the color! Now every second Kenworth on the road seems to be green! Ahhh... Green... The color of envy!

09.01.2022 Our latest job has been cleaning up and burning dead trees to make room for a few more turbine towers out at one of the windfarms. The views are beautiful up here! Some of the dead trees that are still standing have amazing shapes. If you used your imagination, you could imagine them with hobbits and elves running around between them!

05.01.2022 9yrs ago our FH12 Volvo, that we affectionately called "the Viking " came home with this little beauty! The Viking won best Volvo at the Castlemaine Truck Show. One of the biggest name truck shows in Australia! Sadly, the Viking was written off in an unexpected accident and didn't get the opportunity to keep its best Volvo title.

Today at 1pm we got a call to say it's ready to pick up! These guys have the BEST service! Only thing... i can't get back down there until next week to pick it up! ... Tremendous service A+
