22.01.2022 Be present. As entrepreneurs it’s easy to get caught up in the go go go of running a business. What’s the next task on my to-do list? What’s on for tomorrow? Did I email everyone I should have? It’s equally as important to remember to stop and be present in the moment you’re in. A dinner party with friends, a walk through nature, a phone call with a friend, no matter what the experience is be present. A moment too fast becomes a memo...ry, so make sure you’re soaking up every second of this incredible life that you can! @neilwrites See more

21.01.2022 I can’t be the only one that wishes I learned more about Profit + Loss Statements than I did about Pythagoras Theorem in high school Although I can’t turn back time and change that, I can share this little trick to make managing your business finances a bit easier! Think in percentages.... When you’re looking at your Profit + Loss Statement, focus on how much of your income each expense line is taking. Paying $3k in office rent may seem like a great idea to someone making $60k ($3k / $60k = 5% of income), but not for someone making $10k ($3k / $10k = 30% of income). Plus, seeing your business’ expenses as a percentage of your income: Gives you fantastic visibility in how you’re allocating your business funds; Can easily show you where you’ve got some holes in your boat; and Makes it easier to make spending decisions as your income grows. So grab your drink of choice, bring up your Profit + Loss Statement and start dividing each expense line by your total income - you will soon be such an expert that you’ll be making more money with less work in no time! @neleheyahs

10.01.2022 Your network is your net worth. The key to success lies in who you are connected to. I don’t mean that you need to know the manager of the fanciest restaurant in town, or the head of Lorna Jane (but lucky if you do ), I mean you need to create connections, nurture them and most importantly, appreciate them.... It takes an army to run a successful business. Incredible clients, support teams and fellow entrepreneurs willing to share their advice, supportive friends and family - the list is endless. Take time today to be grateful for your connections, to celebrate them, and to help them evolve and grow. @hiddentrailsbyhorseback + @neleheyahs See more

08.01.2022 Self care tip of the week! Celebrate your wins. Every Single One Of Them.... Big, small, loud, quiet. Whatever form they come in, take time to celebrate them! When we choose to focus on our accomplishments and channel our energy on the good that is happening, we attract more of them! Whether a celebration means an evening off your phone, a bottle of wine, a night out, or a block of chocolate, make sure you take the time to indulge yourself. Never forget how far you’ve come, how much you’ve accomplished, and how worthy you are of the party! @countrystylemag + @kararosenlund See more

06.01.2022 Your money doesn’t have to be complicated. The beauty of it is that you are in control and are the sole decision maker in how to manage it. So do some experimenting, figure out what works best for you, and stick to that. Just because someone swears by a certain diet doesn’t mean that it’s going to work for you, and the same goes for your money.
