25.01.2022 Here is one of our old canopies given a new lease on life with a bucket of standard grey proofing compound. If your canvas is still in good condition, reproofing is all you need. We keep a stock of grey, black, and clear proofing and all other DX12 colours we can special order on request. Call us on 07 3275 1840

Craig Embleton, for his mathematical superpowers, realisation of Archimedean geometry, and magic trimming. Teh lovely molecule CHOH... for providing inspiration. 24.01.2022 A new hat for a Viet Nam Vet. The proud owner of this piece of unkillable ANZAC history, requested a new canvas canopy (no sides) for his series 2a Landrover. Vehicle history: Built in England Sept 1968 to Australian Army specs then shipped to Australia. The army had Series 2 then 2a then 3 Landrovers. Series 2 was from 1958 to 1963, Series 2a 1964 to 1972, then Series 3 1973 to 1978 approx.... The vehicle pictured is a Series 2a 109 tonne, General Service. This vehicle is rare as it still has its original motor. Also extremely rare is that it has its original, working crank handle. The length of the chassis is 109 inches, short wheel base is 88 inches. This vehicle served in Vietnam 1969 to 1970 with 106 Field Workshop- RAEME workshops. RAEME means Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. 16.01.2022 This 7x7m marquee is an original design requested by Michael Legge-Wilkinson Inc. for Lord Howe Island airport to use as a temporary terminus. The marquee is designed with floating centre pole held in place by a webbing spider attached to the side poles and subsequently tensioned out to webbing ratchet straps affixed to permanent anchor points. The additional long ratchet straps are only required temporarily for this photo- The local council would likely be upset if we poured a concrete slab in the middle of our local park

11.01.2022 Check out our custom canopy solution for transportation of plants for a nursery. Our customer wanted something that would protect his plants in transit without steaming them. We came up with a very smart, beautifully fitting canopy fully constructed from ~90% blockout outdoor blind and awning mesh. We absolutely love this canopy...and the plants probably do too.

07.01.2022 Here is a box trailer cover we made recently. The customer wanted covers for his spare tyre and toolbox also- Not a problem! The gate frame didnt have sufficient clearance for the usual wrap & lace, so we used Durable fastners to secure the gate panels. 03.01.2022 We are all stuck at home, so whilst you are parked, now is an excellent time to rejuvenate your old canvas canopy. You can reproof and recolour your well used canopy at home, using the Dynaproof proofing compound sourced from the original canvas manufacturer. We generally keep in stock: black, grey and untinted reproofing compound at $60 for a 2.2 litre bucket and we can special order any other colour in the DX 12 canvas range for $120 (There may be a 3-4 week delay on the other colours as it is custom made for us by the supplier).
