25.01.2022 Our team have been working closely with Method Race Wheels and Race Wheels Australia to ensure we use the deepest offset wheel available to provide the longest axles and most wheel travel for our PREDATOR V8 4X4 Buggy. The Method Race Wheels MR401-1560 has a HUGE 51mm (2.0") Offset - the cad models are fantastic and allow team to check all the clearances between the rim and the brake caliper and suspension components. The Method 6" bead-lock rim with a 2" offset provides a to...tal of 5.0" backspacing, which means LONGER AXLES and MORE WHEEL TRAVEL. 25.01.2022 We have been super busy over the last few weeks assisting SS Racetech to make some significant design improvements and weight reduction to their very well proven Pro Buggy Components. It is such a pleasure to work with these guys and its great to see the awesome innovation and unique concepts used in their Australian Built SS Buggies. Scott Schiller and the crew really do make an awesome buggy and if you ever get a change to see these "shiny" components before they are welded... into arms and spindles, you will see the incredible details and significant improvements compared to the USA made gear. Its such a shame that once they are welded in place, that they look "similar" to others, but trust us, these are more complex and better engineered than the others on the market. Not copies of other products, its obvious that these are significantly better than others we have seen on the market. Lets just say, the Chrome Moly certainly strains the CNC machines more than cheap crappy steel. These are just a few of the "jigs and fixtures" we have had to manufacture over the past few weeks, before we can commence CNC production of the PREDATOR V8 4X4 Billet Hubs and the internal CV Joints. Every component we manufacture typically requires multiple jigs to hold the component in the CNC machines, to perform multi axis operations.... Just like the components we manufacture, our jigs are made from the best materials and machined to perfection to ensure your components are manufactured to the correct tolerance and perform reliably during competition. Stay tuned as we commence manufacture of the Billet Hubs over the coming weeks.

02.01.2022 Before we can commence production of any new component, the 3D Cad Models must be converted to CNC Code and the machining simulated and tested before we even cut any metal. We use SolidCAM ANZ CAM software shich sits natively inside SolidWorks to test our machining operations and confirm our components will come out exactly as we intended before pressing the big green "go button" on the CNC machine The SolidCAM ANZ CAM simulation shows us exactly where the tools cut and will ...identify if a tool or the tool holder will clash, rub or strike any of our jigs, fixtures, clamps or any part of the CNC machine iteself. We measure all our tools and holders very accurately and store the sool and holde shape into the Solidcam Library and the CAM software will look for "crashes" metween the tool, the holder and all our stationary 'expensive clamps and jigs) Solidcam comes pre programmed with hundreds of industry standard tool holders so we do not have to spend hours drawing up hundreds of tool holders. We simply select the cutter and then select the holder and the software creates a 3D model of the tool and uses that tool/holder to simulate the machining and identify crashes. Huge thanks to the guys at SolidCAM ANZ for their cuntinued support while we learn all the tricks and tips to make our components faster and faster to save our customers money !!

Manufacturing the jigs, fixtures, dowel pins, position stops, clamping systems and setting up the machines for a production run often takes longer than the actual production run itself.
