20.01.2022 Introducing Paul Paul came to me wanting to lose weight, get stronger and most importantly improve his habits and lifestyle. He had no experience in the gym and was quite apprehensive of the thought of having a personal trainer and exercising in general.... Prior to ProForm, his only form of exercise was walking. He suffered neck pain, lower back pain and his posture was quite rounded due to the nature of his job. Using a variety of accountability tools that we have at ProForm we were able to track Pauls diet, exercise and capabilities to create a tailored plan for his own sessions not only with us but also at home. Paul went from strength to strength as we built a solid foundation early, which was the catalyst for his improvement in all these areas. I can proudly say Paul has in total lost 15kg, has a 11% reduction in body fat and 6% increase in muscle. He is more confident and is now establishing new exercise goals. Well done Paul Im extremely proud and privileged to be a part of your journey.

Health and fitness is an industry that I love being a part of with great opportunity to evolve. I aim to make a true impact and improve the standards within this industry with the use of my knowledge and experience, gained over the years prior to starting ProForm Personal Training. 19.01.2022 When my client came to me six months ago, he had recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, over 50, and clinically obese. With pre-existing shoulder, hip, ankle and back injuries, and a very sedentary lifestyle, he knew he had work ahead of him, and was concerned that exercising in the wrong way, might cause further injury. In short, he wasn't sure where to start. Since then, we have been working together twice a week, and through a structured and personally designed exe...rcise regime, we first worked on addressing the pain from his existing injuries and once that was achieved we got him walking and then running, something he hadn't done since his 20s, and something he thought he'd never do again safely. He's partnering this with a sustainable eating plan with portion control, keeping an eye on calories, and moderating macro nutrients. No special foods, no fads, and still making room for a morning coffee and a normal social life with friends. He's a numbers man, so we use process and measurement to empower and also to monitor his progress, which provides evidence that we're on track and achieving his goals. Im so proud to say that as of last week he has lost over 20 kgs, dropped 13% body fat, has no pain, exercises everyday, and competed his first 5km fun run last month, and is registered for his second tomorrow. The sky is the limit for this guy and I cant wait to keep riding the journey with him.

19.01.2022 GOODBYE LOWER BACK PAIN Workplace injury is something we see quite a lot of at ProForm and currently have a few clients training with us that have suffered injury or pain in their workplace. We understand the individuals job, lifestyle and activity level and with the information identify whats causing the issue and prescribe the most individually tailored program to the specific individuals needs.... More often than not we go into the workplace and train them in that environment. Working on correct ways to brace, hinge, breathe, which we see as essential. Here are some of ProForms clients that are part of our WorkPlace program. Both clients shown had chronic lower back pain and since training with us are now pain free. 15.01.2022 Practice makes perfect There is no better satisfaction as a coach than seeing a client progress week by week. From being unable to perform basic exercises and movements and then working together to finally progress to be able to execute complex movements effectively and efficiently.... You can see Steven excecuting a RDL w/calf raise an exercise that has a huge carry over in athletic performance, it may have taken a while to master but he now performs it perfectly! This is why we love what we do!! Steven is part of our full time Strength and Conditioning program which is growing more and more due to the results all our young athletes are achieving. Well done Steven!

07.01.2022 David came to us wanting to get results that he had been trying to achieve for a long time, over training and poor diet choices stopped him from seeing the results he should have been getting. We educated David on the right nutritional balance best suited for his lifestyle along with structuring his week of exercise. We reduced his training load from 14 sessions down to 5-6 a week and the results speak for themselves! He is now 17% body fat and 40% muscle mass with the intent...ion of building on those stats! Well done David

06.01.2022 BAND PULL THROUGH I love this exercise for several reasons... . Firstly, it is a great way to teach and\or reinforce the hinge pattern of a movement, which in my mind must be mastered prior to any squat/deadlift.... Second, it is a fantastic exercise to switch on the posterior chain. I often use this exercise as a warm up prior to performing a main lift such as a deadlift as it stimulates the CNS. Finally, the effect it has in reducing and preventing lower back injuries. The hip hinge is essential to take pressure off your spine and into your glutes/hamstrings reducing lower back pain during movements Hence why this is a foundation exercise of ours. Its all in the hips
