Having worked as an EP and Strength and Conditioning coach at elite levels, he has the uncanny ability to get you from good to great. He has coached and toured at national levels including Hong Kong Cricket and run performance facilities in Hong Kon...g. Lets call him your "75% to 120% guy". He also has a passion for mindfulness and along with the rest of the Pro-Form team, believes better people make better athletes. Its for this exact reason that we see him as an essential part of our holistic approach to healthcare. As physiotherapists, there comes the point where a patient has reached their short and maybe even long term goals. However, research is clear about the vital role that exercise plays in the rehabilitation process. Can physiotherapists prescribe research-based exercise programs? Absolutely. She promotes physical activity both before and after cancer treatment, citing a study on high-risk breast cancer patients that has found that such physical activity lowers the risk of cancer recurrence and the risk of death. . 05.01.2022 Knowing the difference between self-confidence and self-esteem is a commonly overlooked and under-utilised resource in obtaining healthy levels of mental well-being and cognitive functioning. Self-confidence relates to human doing; our actions, skills and behaviours. At the heart of self-confidence is our faith in our abilities. Therefore, self-confidence is conditional.... Self-esteem refers to our sense of self worth. It relates to human being, It deals with our images, ideas, verbalisations and definitions of our intrinsic selves. Self-esteem should be unconditional. We easily confuse self-confidence with self-esteem and put our inherent value and self-worth on a conditional foundation and fosters the belief: I will become okay if I achieve enough, accomplish enough etc. Rather, perceiving our self-esteem as an inherent given enable us to think and feel in an unpretentious and in a truly loving way. Whilst the official ride has been postponed to May 2021, Buzz is pushing through with his own fundraising ride on the events original dates. This is Buzzs second time to do the ride. He admits its quite the challenge but that wont stop him from getting on that bike again. He fully supports ONE80TCs mission of uplifting people suffering from substance abuse and addiction ...through their recovery programs. "Sydney to the Hunter Valley over 2 days, covering 180kms then 60kms, is tough," Buzz says of last years ride. "But nowhere near as tough as it is for those going through the program to keep persevering and pushing through to change bad habits."
