14.01.2022 Ol mate J-Slyde stepped up to Rainbow Serpent Festival's Chill Stage to deliver his third downtempo outing at the infamous festival. Playing an early 7:30am set time, and warming the stage for Simon Murphy, J dug deep to offer up a trip-hop and beats inspired set designed to re-energize and rejuvenate. Listen now over at breathe.: https://soundcloud.com//j-slyde-live-rainbow-serpent-2019-... Here's what he had to say: "7:30am. Witching hour. It's a special time at Rainbow. Dusty warriors still up from the previous night blend with well-rested day-doofers getting prepared for the twenty-something hours ahead. I approached this set with the hope of finding a happy medium between the two. Beats that might pique the interest of those heading home, hopefully offering some respite, but also music that would re-energize those waking, helping them get ready for the day ahead."

13.01.2022 My homie Aaron Static has just dropped his latest album and I feel strongly that everyone should give it a listen. It's some top-tier audio bliss.

13.01.2022 One of our key inceptors, Simon Murphy, was also tasked with a set at Rainbow Serpent Festival's Chill Stage. This year making it his second appearance on the layback stage, he brought a modern classic twist melded perfectly with warm dubby vibes. We're sure you'll agree it's nothing but class! Dive in over at breathe.: https://soundcloud.com//breathe007-simon-murphy-rainbow-se... And some words from the man himself: "After playing my debut chill set on the magical Chill Stage in 2018 I was thrilled to be invited back this year. Playing straight after my long time collaborator and good friend J-Slyde, whose set just after sunrise meandered through warm blissed out beats and trip-hop, I wanted to incorporate some of my favourite modern classical, some downtempo beats and even some warm melodic dubby beats. Some old tunes, some new, some familiar, some obscure, all inspiring to me at some point in my life. The smiling faces on the dance floor filled me with joy as I played this set to help kick off what was a brilliant Saturday of music at Rainbow Serpent. Enjoy xx"

11.01.2022 New chill vibes from our boy J-Slyde! https://soundcloud.com/jslyde/something-different-0

02.01.2022 [LIVE SET RECORDING IN COMMENTS] I had such a fantastic time at Where The Wild Things Are 2020 on Saturday at CERES Environment Park. The team's attention to de...tail was evident in every aspect of the festival - from the amazing stage constructions, through to the market stalls and beyond. Hugest amount of respect to the crew for putting on such a well run party. I'm really looking forward to the next one! And for those that couldn't make it on the day, the live recording of my trip-hop/down-tempo set is now up on my Soundcloud for your listening pleasure. I was tasked with closing the Solar Stage from 8-9pm and had a fantastic time slowing things down and rounding out the day for everyone. Expect tunes from the likes of Groove Armada, UNKLE, The Roots, Plutonic Lab, Miguel, Tupac, DJ Yoda, arms and sleepers, plus lots more. Hit the link below in the comments. Hope you enjoy!
