31.01.2022 Today marks the beginning of Te Wiki o te Reo Mori (Mori language week) here in Aotearoa. Te Wiki o te Reo Mori provides an opportunity to celebrate te reo Mori, from wherever you are and however you choose. It encourages all New Zealanders to promote the use of the Mori language, which, along with New Zealand Sign Language, is an official language of the country. Here are some things you can do for your Mori Language moment. It could be as easy as greeting everyone you... see with 'kia ora', or starting your ‘Huitma’ Teams, or ‘Huitopa’ Zoom meeting with "mrena". 21.01.2022 A "White Marlin" was recently spotted in Cairns while our painters were repainting the Big Marlin outside Stockland Cairns Shopping Centre. The Big Marlin is an iconic feature of the city as the first 1000-pound Black Marlin ever caught in the world was just off the coast of Cairns. We've been working with Stockland Cairns for over 20 years and we first painted the Big Marlin back in 2005. 14 years later, it was due for a repaint and our painters did a marvellous job in making sure the Big Marlin continues to stand out. With its rich history in commemorating our fallen soldiers, Hobart War Graves holds a special place in our hearts on ANZAC day. Programmed is honoured to be able to take part in maintaining the memory of our fallen heroes through our work at the Hobart and Townsville War Graves among others.
