21.01.2022 Say hello to our newly appointed Account Executive superstar, Michelle! Michelle will be working across our food, lifestyle and not-for-profit clients and we’re thrilled to have her as part of the PPR&C team! For anyone who is interviewing for roles during COVID-19 times Michelle has these actionable tips for you:... Reflect on your experience. Spruce up your LinkedIn, CV and make a portfolio if you haven’t already. Doing this will help you narrow down what roles you’re suited for and employers will be able to see what you’ve done in addition to your CV. Upskill if you have the time. Lots of roles are becoming hybridised and if you have extra time to learn a new skill, it might set you apart from other applicants. Follow up! There are lots of people applying for jobs right now and people can get lost in the process. Make sure you’re front of mind, and show how keen you are, by following up with an email. Be flexible if you can. Right now changes are happening daily and agencies are having to adapt quickly. If you’re invested in joining a team, put your hand up for flexible working arrangements if you’re willing/able. Lastly, be patient but stay hopeful. Looking for a new role can feel like a never ending process. Even if you don’t land your dream role right away, celebrate the small wins along the way they’re what got you this far! Good luck! X

07.01.2022 A national study by the Consumer Policy Research Centre has found telecommunications companies deliver the worst customer service of all essential service providers. The irony of the telecommunications sector being the most difficult to contact and navigate is not lost on us. If you need to complain about your telco service, Consumer Policy Research Centre CEO Lauren Solomon, has these handy tips to share:... 1. Formalise be clear it’s a complaint and not just a request for help. 2. Document save all communication between you and your provider (phone, email and web chat). 3. Get noticed your provider must acknowledge your complaint within two working days and do everything possible to resolve things without you needing to follow up. 4. Escalate if your provider hasn’t acknowledged your complaint within 2 days, if they haven’t proposed a solution you’re happy with, if they’re hard to contact or disrespectful, contact the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. #ClientCoverage #ProgressivePR
