11.01.2022 Tele-Health Consultations at ProHealthCare Throughout the Covid-19 crisis, our doctors will be performing a majority of consultations via Telehealth. This allows patients (particularly the vulnerable), to remain isolated for the majority of their health care needs. The following patients are eligible for bulk-billed Tele-Health Consultations: - 70 Years old or more... - Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander and 50 years old or more - Pregnant - Parent of a child under 12 months old - A person with chronic health conditions - Immunosuppressed (eg undertaking chemotherapy) All other patients will be charged a fee of $40 for this service. There are some instances where patients will still be required to attend the clinic. These might include, but are not limited to: - Immunisations / Vaccinations - Wounds / Dressings - Other point of care services As the majority of our doctors are no longer accepting on-line appointment bookings, we request that patients phone their practice to request an appointment with their usual doctor. All doctors are working tirelessly to accommodate their regular patients as best as possible throughout this very challenging period.
