24.01.2022 Below is a copy of an email I have sent to our clients with a Centipede activity. Its worth taking a look at. Be sure to use activities in accordance with how they're designed. While it's impossible to keep an eye on your course 24/7, it's worth knowing that unsupervised use or misuse of an activity can have consequences. Some photos have been included here but not all the ones indicated in the email. ...Continue reading

21.01.2022 Kathmandu Ropes Course pole

20.01.2022 Really ????!!!! All we need now are kevlar body armour suits lined with cotton wool , a batton to knock offending animals out of the trees , a can of pepper spray to knock out any insects we find on the challenge course and a taser for hurrying along those slow people in front of you or removing them altogether from your adventure park journey. ... Im also developing an app that identifies covid hot spots on your challenge course that punters can download from the app store for $5.(Itll also track down any pokémons that may be lurking in the branches.) And thats not all. Our lab technicians have developed a cable sanitising solution that participants wipe on the course as they traverse activities. $40 a litre. (plus GST) (just ignore the label that says Franklin Spring Water) Also the first 50 people to download the app will get a free cape guaranteed to ward of any virus while you participate on the challenge course. Rant Done Increase the safety in your park! The Kong VISOR LONG completely covers the face and therefore provides increased safety and protection for clients and staff. It is very wide and allows the simultaneous use of glasses and mask. The "antifog" treatment on both the internal and external sides, avoids fogging and allows you to work safely without interruption. The VISOR LONG resists scratches, it's made from high quality Japanese polycarbonate.

06.01.2022 On September 20, Project Adventure legend Karl Rohnke passed away. Karls legacy in the adventure education world is immeasurable. He is known worldwide for his... fun-loving creativity, vitality, and talent. A workshop leader, author, and creator of amazing new challenge course elements and devilish initiative tests, Karl was a founding staff member of Project Adventure in the early 1970s and later a leading staff member of High Five. Karl's name is synonymous with the development of the adventure education movement and the building of challenge courses. All of us send condolences to Karl's wife Gloree, his family, and our colleagues in adventure learning. A giant in our world has passed. He will be missed by all of us whose lives he made just a bit brighter. See more

01.01.2022 The adventure education world lost one of its icons today with the passing of Karl Rohnke. When it comes to creativity, fun and joy, Karls contributions to the... field are unparalleled. It is fair to say that he truly shaped so much of where we are today. The invitation to experience and learn, something you never thought you could accomplish or master was ingrained in his teaching. And it always came with a warm smile and an encouraging word. He made good things happen in so many ways, for so many people for all of his days. Karl was one of the founding members of High 5 Adventure Learning Center and helped to shape our early formation as we were starting anew in 2000. All of us at High 5 extend our warmest thoughts to his family and will forever cherish the memories he created throughout his career for so many of us and for so many around the world.
