25.01.2022 As I reflect on the year that has been... cancelled classes due to thick smoke-filled skies, a pandemic closing the country, adapting quickly and doing online live classes (completely out of my comfort zone), building an online training platform and 30 day health kick, and introducing a dedicated beginners class - PFM has not just survived but thrived! Thank you to each and every person who joined us or continued training with us this year. Despite all of the challenges, 20...20 has been a pretty awesome year and it would not of been made possible without the frikken amazing team of Mums (and Dads) I’ve had the joy in training and seeing each week!!! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Sending my love and thoughts to anyone affected by the Sydney lockdown, I hope you can all still enjoy a special christmas and nice holiday break. So here’s a simple but delicious avocado dip you can make next time you have some friends over. 1-2 overripe avocados... 1 slice of red onion, finely chopped 4 cherry tomatoes, finely chopped Squeeze of fresh lime juice Pinch of chilli flakes Salt + pepper Mash the avocados with a fork then mix in the finely chopped veg and season with the chilli flakes and salt and pepper. 15.01.2022 This is Kristy, one of our members who is a new Mum to baby Rosie Kristy started Project Fit Mum with the beginner program classes around 12 weeks post-partum. She has been consistent attending two classes per week and has improved so much with her strength and fitness as well as reduced her abdominal separation. I thought I’d ask her a couple of questions on her experience with PFM so far What do you like most about Project Fit Mum?... The vibe! Going back to a gym environment post baby felt quite daunting but Laura and the girls are so friendly and welcoming. How are you feeling since you started? I leave each class feeling both mentally and physically refreshed, I’m feeling so much stronger and had quite bad abdominal separation which has reduced significantly since I started at PFM. What do you do outside of Mum-duties? The beach is my ultimate happy place, I also love bush walk adventures with my hubby and Henry dog and a wine with the girls of course! Any other comments you wish to add? I’ve realised how much more Mums need to practice self care! PFM is the perfect place for it www.pfmcanberra.com.au

This campaign began in 2019 to PUSH-BACK on the ‘get your pre-baby body back’ pressure mums feel and that the fitness industry often drives (even if we don’t realise it). It’s about helping all women to truly understand that their worth is NOT wrapped up in the size of their body and th...at they do not need to strive and punish themselves to look a certain way. Our key focus for 2020 has been diversity and inclusion and we feel we have come a long way since last year HOWEVER we know not everyone that see’s our images will feel represented and so; once again we are asking for YOU to get involved and share YOUR #nomoreprebabybody message or story, to represent YOU and all women. So - now we are asking fellow mums to stand with us! 04.01.2022 One of the comments I received by one of the lovely Mums who joined this year Helping Mums get fit and strong (and making their health and self-care a priority WITHOUT the guilt) is a huge passion of mine and I’m so so proud and inspired by all of these women that turn up (even on very little sleep) each week. Mums need mums and to do more of the things that make them happy and if PFM is one of those self-care activities and I can help another mum get through a tough day, then it is all worth it

01.01.2022 The biggest reason I started PFM was so Mums had more options to exercise post-baby and to be able to make that time for themselves. Being a Mum is a tough gig (don’t get me wrong it’s the best and so rewarding) but looking after other people’s needs 24/7 is exhausting and we all need an outlet. Ensure you schedule (yes schedule so it actually happens) your self-care and exercise in! It’s so important to do things for yourself that make you feel good and rejuvenate you
