22.01.2022 Letters from scholarship recicipients Tuong Vi lost both of her parents from young age and lives with her grandmother. 8 years ago she was introduced to PHAi for scholarship to pay school fees as her grandmother couldn’t afford to keep her at school. Understanding that she is lucky to continue to go to school, she worked hard and achieved academic excellence and in 2016 graduated with the highest University entrance score in her class. She is now in her 4th year at Universit...y studying economics. PHAi’s scholarship program provides funding toward school fees, books and uniforms for academic gifted children from hardship families to continue to attend school. Every year via Fr Dom Liem, PHAi receives letters from the children. It is with so much joy and tear of happiness that I get to read the children’s letters today. They understand there are many sacrifices from their families and the generous support to give them this education opportunity and for this they are grateful and have always put in their best effort to do well at school to achieve excellence results.

13.01.2022 Right after the floods in central Vietnam on October 23rd, Fr Dom Liem coordinated the gifts distribution for the urgent support to the families that got affected in Lu Lut Mien Trung. 500 parcels includes rice, canned fish, sausages, sweet treats and bottled water were distributed to 4 villages in Kim Doi parish and Lang Mai.
