18.01.2022 Come and join the PMiA Network for an exciting presentation from Mark Vollmer on Project Team Resilience. Steve & Susan have worked with Mark on several major projects since the late 1990's. 16.01.2022 An interesting, but not surprising observation by KPMG See: https://issuu.com//aipm_a4_digital_magazine_winter_2020_/6 for the whole article. Using experienced PM's on projects increases the probability of project success.

07.01.2022 The cartoon is obviously not the "right" way to make decisions in your projects or business, but is important to know how decisions are reached or agreed. One tool missing in a lot of projects is a Decision Register. Project Managers should record specifics of the decisions made during the project life cycle: - the situation presented - options considered... - the decision reached - date the decision made - made at (e.g. Steering Committee meeting) - made by (i.e. Sponsor, Steering Committee, etc) - areas of impact ( i.e. project product, users, stakeholders, etc) - degree of impact - status ( i.e. unimplemented, in progress, implemented) - notes/comments that add important information about the decision and its outcomes - these can be important for future Lessons Learned discussions #projectmanagers #decisionmaking #business #pmia
