22.01.2022 LAST WEEK OF TRADE UPDATE We are heading into our last week of trading at Project Mex and we would like to thank you all for your support, kind words and best wishes, it has really been overwhelming. We already have a lot of orders in for the week so there are a couple of things we wanted to let you know:... There are no delivery spots left for Wednesday or Thursday lunch. We are NOT taking email orders for FRIDAY NIGHT or SATURDAY NIGHT, we may start running low on some items so we will be taking PHONE ORDERS ONLY just in case we need to let you know if we have run out of something. A reminder that some orders are going to our junk mail, which we do keep checking but we may miss some, so if we have not sent you a confirmation that means we have not seen your order. We aren't able to check our emails during prep and service times so you will receive an automated response advising you that you need to phone the order in. Hoping to see as many of you as we can in this last week

21.01.2022 We have some take home heat & serve portions of prawns and tequila sauce if anyone is interested - $15. Limited amount. Will be at the restaurant between 4pm - 5pm it you want to pick-up, no eftpos available.

18.01.2022 ORDERS UPDATE We are not able to take anymore orders for THURSDAY LUNCH sorry, we are at full capacity. We cannot take anymore email orders at all for the remainder of our opening times sorry, its getting too hard to keep up with all the time requests and order changes. We will be taking PHONE ORDERS ONLY.... We have replied to all email orders we have received, so please check that you have a confirmation, if you don't have a confirmation then it means we have not received your email. Thanks everyone

18.01.2022 Ok we will be selling the mustard sauce, have too many pre-order requests to source enough bottles so will be selling in 250ml and 440ml containers. 250ml $ 7 440ml $10 Available to collect on Friday, will post times closer to the day. Please PM for pre-orders, don't pre-order in the comments.... Also just wondering if anyone is interested in buying the Tex Mex Chicken Strip spice coating, we have so much left over - then you can have the whole Project Mex experience at home its as easy as soaking some tenderloins in buttermilk, tossing them in the spice coating, cook them in the deep fryer and dip them in that delicious sauce !!! If we get enough interest we'll come up with a price.

15.01.2022 To all of our amazing customers, we have made a decision that the time has come to close our wonderful restaurant. It has been such a great pleasure to be a part of this industry for the past 15 years and to have welcomed and served you all at Project Mex over the last 6 years. This is a decision that we have been considering for some time, and we feel this is the right time for us and our family. The recent challenging time that we have all endured has validated to us th...at it is important to take care of yourself and your family, and for us right now that means taking a break and closing Project Mex. To say that we have been lucky to have owned this business and worked with some truly beautiful people is an understatement. We are so very proud of what we have achieved and what Project Mex has represented and we have nothing but positive feelings about making this decision and about what we will be looking forward to next. So today is the day that we are sharing this decision with you, but today is not the day we are closing. Our last service will be SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26TH. Until then we will be continuing to operate as TAKE-AWAY ONLY for lunch and dinner, opening days and times are the same as they have always been but it will be take-away only. Details of opening days and times are on our Facebook. We look forward to seeing you all over the next 5 weeks!!

13.01.2022 We have so many plates!! And lots of other kitchen things that we are selling. You can drop in tomorrow or Friday between 11am - 3pm. Happy to talk about a price for the lot so if you are interested in that just send us a message (not in the comments please). We aren’t taking anymore sauce orders, will respond to all the ones we have so far, but we can’t take anymore. Also we need to change pick up time for the mustard sauce orders to Saturday between 10.30am - 11.30am..., we just haven’t had a chance to get it made sorry We will have some Tex mex spice available, it will be 300gm containers $8. We can’t put any away or hold any sorry we just don’t have time to get to all the messages. You can grab some when you get your sauce, once it is all sold we aren’t making anymore sorry. And we have no eftpos available. Sadly we won’t be making any other Project Mex goodies, we had thought we would be able to but the whole moving out situation is taking longer than we had planned

03.01.2022 Hey guys, not able to take anymore orders for Thursday lunch sorry. We have replied to all the email orders that we have so check for your confirmation - don't forget to look in your junk. Any orders for tonight can be phoned through after 5pm, ph 49272910. ... And Friday lunch orders are only available for pick-up from 11am - 11.40am or 1pm - 1.15pm, but these fill up quickly so we can't guarantee those times will still be available when you put your order in.

01.01.2022 Hey everyone we have had LOTS of phone calls for dine-in bookings, so this is just a little reminder that we are still TAKE-AWAY ONLY We will be closing September 26th, so there are 9 trading days left to get your Project Mex fix!! We are taking email orders for lunch and dinner, please put the date and time in the subject line. If you are not flexible on pick-up times its probably best to get your order in the day before and we will do our best to have it ready when you ...need. If we have received your email we will send you a confirmation, sometimes the orders have been going to our junk mail, we do try to check it regularly but we may miss it, so you need to have received a confirmation from us to know that we have received the order. And sometimes our confirmation have been going to your junk box we don't check our emails during prep and service times so we will have automated replies on which may also go to your junk box.
