03.02.2022 One of the biggest mistakes I see is how + when people eat fruit. Whilst fruit is 'healthy' it really depends on what ur target ie what you are trying to achieve. Most clients I see have clear goals... Reduce Belly Fat Boost Energy Lose weight Beat Digestive Stress and IBS Manage Hormones Boost Vitality And these are all simple to achieve, however eating Eating oodles of fruit, At the wrong time In the wrong food combination will keep you away from achieving your goals Fruit is still sugar! And whilst there are still other amazing goodies in there, eating fruit withouth any real strategy may be sabotaging your goals, leading to a massive sugar high which in turn leads to increased insulin, and inevitably fat storage. If you are trying to Lose belly fat Manage energy levels Prevent diabetes Balance sugars Increase libido Boost testosterone Maintain or lose weight It may be worth looking at your fruit intake and how and when you eat it. The goal is to eat food that complements your internal chemistry rather than goes against it. 19.01.2022 What is your *WHY* to get healthy and feel amazing? WHEN I BECAME A MUM EVERYTHING CHANGED. THE LITTLE BUNDLES OF ENERGY (+PAINS IN THE BUM) CREATED THE BIGGEST MOTIVATION I COULD EVER DREAM OF... It was just after I had my first son, it had been a 3 day labour, emergency c section and several weeks in intensive care for my son. I was back home, alone with my baby and was pissed off. My body was now even further from my ideal body. I was just about to text hubby about how I hated it when I looked at Zane. Was I f$#ing serious? I HATED the body that had given me the most precious little thing and I was still ready to recommence the hate campaign of yoyo dieting, quick chemical weight loss fixes and abuse on the body that had just given me this! I DELETED THE TEXT Since then I have never once said i hate my body. Because whilst it might not be my ideal, it was ideal for me. Like it or lump it I was a role model and my baby's lifeline. I decided to quit the hate campaign and start to look at my weight loss journey from a place of love. I had no choice. I had to survive and thrive for the little one. Today, my vow to take care of my body and mind has strengthened even more. At 7 and 10 they are relatively independent and I have to show by example that you have to love and respect your body. I have to teach and empower them so that when Im not around they can make informed decisions And i think the biggest thing is I don't want them to hate or abuse their body like i did. And the only way i can do that is by being congruent with my message. The point of my rabbling?? Let your WHY be your motivation and drive to be the healthy and happy
18.01.2022 Who’s your inspiration? My parents inspire me every day to be better than the last! Happy birthday to my amazing Daddy ! ... So blessed to have you as my Dad. You are an inspiration! My Dad arrived at Paris airport when he was 8 with no money or food and no one to collect him. He and his brother lived in the airport for 3 days. That is true grit! That experience and all those that came after have taught him the power of will, #discipline and self belief and thankfully he’s passed it to me. 2020 will be the first year I don’t see him. (I know so many aren’t that lucky to even have their dad with them. This pic is taken in Pakistan which he left when he was 8, he then returned only to run away to be with my mum (it was arranged he marry someone else. But it wasn’t part of his dream. 07.01.2022 It sounds counter intuitive, but you would be surprised to know that water retention and bloating can often be related to simply not drinking enough #water ie #dehydrated Drinking a MINIMUM of 2 litres of water a day is a good start, but it is just that a start We are all different so when drinking water consider ... the amount of exercise you do your salt intake (the higher the salt intake the more water you need (ideally reduce salt) your sugar wheat gluten Opt for eating really clean and natural food with as fewer ingredients as possible.
