19.01.2022 Meet some more of Projex Building’s office staff. Both Marsh and Sinthu started at Projex as Building Cadets. They have both developed their skills and transitioned into Contracts Administrator roles. Lucille has just started with Projex as a Building Cadet while she finishes her Degree in Building and Construction Management. You can find these three cruising the streets of Canberra in their sports cars. But Lucille takes the cake because we all know red goes faster. Zoom Zoom.
15.01.2022 FREEEEEEEEEEDOMMMMM! Meet Ross Mackenzie, originally from bonny Scotland, this lad has taken Projex by storm! Ross would never want to toot his own bagpipe, so we will do it for him! Ross is a highly organised and self-motivated Project Coordinator who has gained a wealth of experience in Project Management, Estimating and Contract Management. Ross is very articulate (if you can understand his accent) and creates effective lines of communication between clients and subcontractors whilst maintaining strict quality standards with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

12.01.2022 This month is National Safe Work Month. To support this initiative, Projex is focusing on the health and safety of all our young and vulnerable workers on site. Apprentices are often at risk due to their lack of experience and awareness of risks. Projex recognises that we play a pivotal role in influencing subcontractor attitudes towards health and safety and are taking active steps to promote a positive work health and safety culture across all sites. Keep an eye out for our vulnerable worker initiatives on site!

06.01.2022 Neville Bonner Expansion Stage 4 involved a two-phase GC21 head contract to provide design and construct services for a new 885m2 educational building, with the objective to permanently house 175 students and associated staff members. The building incorporated adaptive learning areas that are consistent with current educational pedagogy, promoting open plan, flexible and collaborative spaces. In addition to the building the design included a unique sensory courtyard which was... developed to interact with the user’s senses, a nature play space incorporating timber and sandstone features, tunnels, sandpits, native trees and plant species, and various artificial grass and landscape areas. The extent of works helped to invigorate the underdeveloped aspects of the school grounds while maintaining and promoting their indigenous traditions. @sqc_architecture #projexbuilding #construction #builder #canberra #canberrabuilder #design #architecture See more
