22.01.2022 For the International Day of People with Disability we’re excited to share this video by talented student Zoe Fraser. Zoe created the video for her final year school assessment - and it was a winning entry in the Focus on Ability Film Festival 2020. In this beautiful, powerful video, Zoe shares her brother Luca’s journey with Aspergers and how he sees it as a gift. Aspergers affects how people perceive the world and interact with others. ... In making her video, Zoe’s aim was to reduce the stigma around Aspergers by helping people better understand what life’s like for people who live with it every day. ‘Not all Disabilities are Visible’ is the 2020 theme for the annual celebration of people with disabilities. It focuses on increasing both awareness and understanding of disabilities that are not immediately apparent. Inclusion is a key aspect of the Proludic philosophy.
