18.01.2022 More action from the Welshpool kindergarten over the past few weeks with the installation of their garden boxes. Huge thankyou to and appreciation to Leigh deBoer and his daughter Isla for getting their tools out and constructing the magnificent garden boxes. The Welshpool community has supported this project with all building materials donated by the Jozefowicz family of South Gippsland Concrete and a beautiful morning tea for the recent working bee donated by the Mabilia family from the Welshpool Supermarket. To our Welshpool businesses, we say thankyou for your ongoing generous support and engagement with our kindergarten.

08.01.2022 Our Welshpool Kindergarten had a much needed facelift over the School Holidays. As a highly valued community service with growing numbers of 3 & 4 Year Old Kindergarten children, priority to upgrade this Kindergarten was urgent. The refurbished kitchen will serve as a functional space for our kindergarten program and will be shared with our Welshpool Playgroup community. The office area is now light, bright and warm and provides a professional space for our Educational team Margaret and Denise to plan their amazing kindergarten program that is welcoming, engaging and active. Thanks to the South Gippsland Shire for their partnership in maintaining our Kindergarten facilities for our communities

08.01.2022 The educators at PCCC are passionate about creating outdoor environments that offer a multitude of play and learning experiences. They often spend their weekends thinking, dreaming, rearranging and creating spaces that encourage curiosity, engagement, exploration and wonder. Sometimes it is the partners, grandpas and husbands (aka the hammer and nails enthusiasts) of our educators that make these visions a reality. Dan Rogers, husband of our wonderful Integrated Kindergarten ...Teacher Amy Rogers has taken considerable time and care in building a magnificent 3 piece mud kitchen set for the outdoor environment of the Koala Program at Foster. Thankyou so much Dan for making the Koala teams vision become reality. The mud kitchen is sure to be the hub of many future herb soups, nature milkshakes, flower cakes and magic potions mixed with collaboration, cooperation and socialisation l!

02.01.2022 EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS DAY 2020 has been a challenging year for many. As Primary and Secondary children continue to learn from home, Kindergarten and Long Day Care Children continue to thrive in their learning environments, being guided and cared for by our PCCC Educators without interruption. Long Day Care and Kindergarten children remain connected and have maintained their regular routines, strengthened their relationships with their peers and educators and they are all... taking huge steps in their learning, growth and development. The committed teams of Educators at PCCC are the heroes and the backbone of our services. This year, they’ve stepped it up to superhero status, giving their all to ensure that the children in our care have minimum disruption to their education and learning routines. They have not missed a beat throughout this extraordinary year. At a time of uncertainty, the continuity for our children has been made possible because of our amazing educational teams. PCCC Educators have continued to diligently program for each child that have been able to attend, while also offering support to those families choosing to stay at home. No amount of words of praise could ever make up for the selfless education and care our Educators continue to provide every day. Today, this week, whenever it is appropriate, we take time to say THANKYOU to our Educators. one word that is meaningful, powerful and priceless.
