23.01.2022 Quick 5 day swap! We got this super cool XG Panel Van dropped off last Monday. After removing the single cam we fitted a BA Barra engine along with -Tuff Mounts engine mounts and sway bar kit -Pro Mech X series wiring kit... -Pro Mech X series pedal mount -Pro Mech X series power steer hose kit We also kept full dash functions, modified the single cam extractors to suit Barra, fitted and wired a/c, fitted the factory T5 up to the barra block, adjusted the clutch to suit and had it all done and roadworthy compliant with the relevant paperwork ready for pickup by Friday. 22.01.2022 COVID -19 UPDATE Due to the severity of the novel coronavirus, we will be shutting our doors to the public today as we go into Stage 1 lockdown. Business will continue under limited operating hours, and we can still be contacted via phone, face book or email. We currently have a number of out of state vehicles in the shop, and with talks of a potential border lockdown, these have taken full priority and need to be completed asap. It has been a massive year for us here and we would like to thank our customers, suppliers, staff and of course our supporters and wish them all the best for the new year. 21.01.2022 Cool old Ford conversion we wired recently. Its a 53 F150 body with the SCT S/C 5.4 from an 03 F150 Lightning resting on a Explorer chassis. Now sporting the best in technology Australia has to offer. We have fitted -Haltech Elite 2000 ... -Haltech Dual wideband controller -Haltech HP8 Igniter module -US Shift Transmssion controller -Oil temp sensor -Fuel pressure sensor -Dual knock sensors -Front and rear wheelspeed sensors -Intake air temp sensor -Battery relocation and leads As well as terminating a motorsport style engine harness with all new plugs, braided sheath and waterproof connectors. The Haltech has allowed us to run sequential injection along with traction control, launch control, air conditioning, closed loop idle, multi level engine protection and a whole host of other features,They really are a great unit. 18.01.2022 Quick A/C conversion. We fitted up a Rod Shop A/C kit and modified the compressor to suit our application. The TX valve o rings were replaced, system gassed and it was all wired into the factory VN system. 17.01.2022 Almost a million km! We had this old work horse in the other week and it had done over 960,000 kms still on the original engine! It was throwing a number of fault codes and had had many things replaced already. We programmed a new PCM and fitted it to vehicle fixing all issues, and now one step closer to the million kms! 14.01.2022 Registered, Engineered and ready for Drag Challenge! Our own shop car, registered just last week! Clean one owner VN S Pac, still has factory mudflaps, headlight protectors, radio, hubcaps and logbooks. Originally V6 its now fitted with -Ls1... -Integrated wiring harness -2 step / launch control -Built 4l60e -3000 rpm stall -3 inch stainless exhaust -4:11 locker diff -Pedders suspension The build has around 500km on it now, we are not towing a trailer and have taken limited spares so it will certainly be a test of build quality. 13.01.2022 As with many businesses, the recent changes have affected us all in one way or another. For us, it was the threat of a border closure with many interstate vehicles in our workshop. Over the last few weeks, we have managed to clear these jobs out and are slowly returning back to a normal workload. The owner has fitted the engine and wired it himself but was still having a few issues even after taking it to multiple workshops. With a few upgrades already installed we fitted - Deatschwerks DW300 fuel pump -Crow Race valve spring and retainers -Bosch 880cc injectors... -Genuine Ford timing chain guide -LSD rear diff conversion -Urethane rear diff bushes -solid Urethane trailing arm bush As well as Performance engine and transmission service before it went on the dyno. 05.01.2022 Tough XF we had in the shop recently We fitted and wired -Haltech Elite Barra PCM -Bosch Motorsport injector harnesses -Dual port boost solenoid... -Transbrake solenoid -TH400 speedo drive kit -OEM XF oil and water temp senders -Shift kits X series fuel gauge corrector -Dual Fuel pump relays in boot with 6mm wiring -Reverse lights and neutral start -Starter and Alternator circuits Using new Oem plugs, Duetsch connectors and braided wire sheath throughout. 05.01.2022 Mustang Madness! From stock to 700rwhp with just a few bolt ons! We got this 2017 Mustang in recently and fitted -Roush Stage 2 supercharger kit -Roush RDT Tune... -Kooks long tube headers -Wideband 02 sensor -Borla Twin 3 inch exhaust system -Steeda short shifter and clutch spring -Shockworks coilovers all round -Rear Subframe reinforcement kit with billet links -Raceworks 2 piece vented rotors all round -PDW 20" rims with Pirelli tyres We also gave it a track spec 4 wheel alignment. Added with the sub frame reinforcement kit this eliminates axle tramp and helps put the power down along with fixing the factory rear handling issue these have. Its now off for some paint and panel work along with a final tune which should see it around 800whp. We have seen a fair few of these through the shop now and are getting very familiar with both chassis characteristics and engine. We got this clean VF GTS in the other week for some power upgrades, After fitting -Harrop CAI -Harrop 17/8 long tube headers... -3 inch Bi-Modal exhaust -Deatschwerks 90lb injectors -Crow 'Fat Lobe" blower cam -Double valve springs,retainers and pushrods -New leads, plugs and heat socks It was put on the Hub Dyno where it netted a conservative 415kw. Some extra attention spent on the cold start and off boost side of the tune makes it a dream to drive even with the manual and big cam. 04.01.2022 Great day for a cruise! One of our long time customers stopped by today in his tough Turbo Commodore. I built this engine and turbo combo about 5 years ago from my home garage at the time, and its been going strong ever since Its a rebuilt stock stroke 5.0L V8 with a few goodies inside, Arps, Cometic gaskets, Borg Warner turbo, Ice ignition, 4" to 3" stainless exhaust, and a whole lot more.
