19.01.2022 A big welcome back to senior account manager Dwayne! Those who have had the pleasure to work with Dwayne before will recognise he's a super wordsmith with a sharp contacts list - and just as sharp a sense of wit. Thanks for scootering your way back into the team to look after clients while our senior account manager Karla is on maternity leave and for bringing the LOL moments to our team meetings.... It's great to have you onboard!

18.01.2022 "We can have some pretty cool abodes for the future, they don't all have to be big." Congratulations to architect Amy Degenhart, of degenhartSHEDD, who has just been awarded a Good Design Award Gold Accolade for her ENVI Micro Urban Village project in Southport, as she prepares to turn the sod on her next innovative, tiny development in south-east Queensland. Watch this story by 9 News Queensland for more details on the exciting new project and micro home concept.

17.01.2022 When we talk about disability, there is so much courage and so much bravery surrounding disability ... and I think that the more people you can envelope in that little bubble the better. It truly is a privilege to learn from amazing Aussies like Olympic gold medal winner Cate Campbell, who's opened up about growing up with her brother Hamish, who has severe cerebral palsy and requires around-the-clock care. Listen to Cate speak about caring for a sibling with a disability, and how Hamish has influenced her life and career, on Feros Care's Grow Bold Podcast.

16.01.2022 Do you know where the Katwinchar got its unusual name? The 115-year-old ketch, which became the oldest boat to compete in the Rolex Sydney Hobart last year, was built by Englishman Ricardo Gilbey Watney and named after his children - Katherine, Winifred and Charles. That's just the start of this boat's historic and interesting journey, including its links with iconic Aussie boating family, the Barry-Cotters.... Maritimo will be displaying Katwinchar as part of the Sanctuary Cove Boating Festival by the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show on from November 13 to 15.

16.01.2022 Take a walk with Maritimo's lead designer, Tom Barry-Cotter, as he explores the new M55 Flybridge Motoryacht. Fusing the latest advancements in nautical technology and design with the iconic features of Maritimo's M-series models of the past, the new M55 model is a fine balance of power and play. Scheduled for release in early 2021, join Tom and explore a fresh take on how a flybridge motoryacht should perform and feel. ... https://youtu.be/R7W4Tb0rJwU

15.01.2022 Sending a big thank you today to our senior account manager Sheree Breust, who has been part of the Promedia team for an incredible 14 years It is pretty safe to say Promedia Public Relations wouldn’t be the same without your knowledge and strategy skills not to mention your rapid fire typing! Sheree is one of four team members who has been part of the Promedia story for more than a decade. What an incredible team we’re lucky to be part of.

12.01.2022 We are still catching our breath after facilitating a huge few days of media coverage for this exciting announcement from the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation It’s always an honour to partner with Perry and his passionate crew and this was no exception as he revealed an Australian-first rehabilitation trial considered the next step in treating paralysis would proceed after a record donation from the foundation. From front-page coverage across multiple newspapers to a he...artfelt feature on Sunrise, our carefully executed media strategy inspired a huge groundswell of support for the ground-breaking research and a spike in donations to this wonderful cause. It was also touching to learn of the many people living with paralysis who reached out to Perry, the Spinal Injury Project and Making Strides after seeing the coverage to either volunteer for the trial or simply say how such news gives them fresh hope.

10.01.2022 A warm welcome to the newest member of the Promedia Public Relations family - Jack Costello! This adorable little guy came into the world at Gold Coast Private Maternity a few weeks back, just in time to celebrate his first festive season with proud parents - senior account manager, Karla, and her husband, Ben. We couldn’t be more thrilled for you and send a massive congratulations to the happy family

10.01.2022 The definition of 'multi-skilled' summed up entirely in this picture of our office administration co-ordinator Laura, who can not only create client coverage reports, liaise with account managers day-to-day, and be a general boss, but can also wield a whiteboard marker with a boldness reminiscent of Banksy. Making office birthdays special with a swipe of a pen!

10.01.2022 If we’ve learnt anything from COVID it’s that now is a great time to learn a new skill! Feros Care and Everybody NOW's poetry ‘Gran Slam’ is back for a second year but with a twist - it’s now online. Seniors from anywhere in Queensland and New South Wales can get involved in the poetry workshops, where experienced poets and literary performers will guide them through learning to write and perform poetry that moves and inspires.... Don’t worry if you aren’t a literary genius - no experience is necessary, just a desire to be involved and learn new skills. Check out Feros Care for all the details. Robbie Wesley. Ruth Savage, David Stavenger and Lilith Rocha

07.01.2022 The boss giving new meaning to the term 'office attire.' Working from home means you can catch a wave and still make it to work on time. We think that's a major perk. Let us know of any perks you've come across working from home.

06.01.2022 Everyday is paw-fect with a dog. Our favourite resident office dog came and visited us this week and it's safe to say his little face brightened everyone's day. We look forward to your next visit Renly.

05.01.2022 This week we mark a HUGE milestone, with senior account manager Karla Costello officially notching up nine years with the Promedia team. While we all consider ourselves great storytellers, it's pretty safe to say no-one does it quite like Karla . Whether regaling us with tales of her youth, her adventures from over the weekend or sharing some seriously strong client stories, she always does it with a smile on her face and her trademark chuckle. ... Our team wouldn't be the same without your infectious sense of humour, great food recommendations (spanning everything from dagwood dogs to fine dining!) and your PR prowess. You're one in a million Karla and we feel privileged to have called you part of the Promedia team for so many years. Here's to many more!

04.01.2022 Congratulations to our client Mirvac Residential for securing approval for the next stage of its $1 billion Waterfront Newstead community in Brisbane. The next chapter of this exciting project continues Mirvac's longstanding presence in the area and has been designed as a 'park within a park', drawing greenery from neighbouring Waterfront Park up the 25-level building's facade and across lush landscaped balconies. 02.01.2022 Wishing Karla the very best on her 'baby break' from Promedia We're looking forward to seeing photos of the new addition, and to hear all about the Costellos' journey into parenthood (wild gesticulation included!). The team is always here for you, so remember - a strong coffee, good banter, or extra set of hands, is only ever a phone call away.

01.01.2022 If there is one thing 2020 has taught us, it's to expect the unexpected. And while there's no way to predict the future - in life or business - there is a way to prepare your brand against challenges and times of crisis. Today on the blog, we share the importance of having a Crisis Management Plan (CMP) and offer guidance on how one can be implemented.

01.01.2022 Team Promedia celebrated ‘the year that shall not be named’ in style - with food, fun, laughter and some cathartic karaoke! We feasted on pasta and seafood at Gallura Italian and sampled some of Komune Beach Club - Gold Coast’s finest concoctions. We wish for everyone reading this to have as much fun celebrating their Christmas festivities as we did. Happy Silly Season to all, with love and joy from our team to yours
