19.01.2022 EASTER HOURS AND OTHER INFO Friday - Closed Saturday - open 8am to 1pm.. please phone Tanya Kingman 0418729253 Sunday- Closed Monday- Closed ... I am still away and have been for a few weeks now. During this time, I have travelled away to attend selections, for Team Australia with my outrigging. Then it was on to compete in Hawaii with my sister in law Tania, for the Maui to Molokai event. I am super stoked to say that we were both successful in gaining selection for Team Australia and placed first in our OC2 Women’s division in Hawaii. I want to say a big thank you to Tanya Kingman, who has continued to run lessons and hire on Saturday’s while I’ve been away. I also want to acknowledge Peter Luck and Paul Daniel, both Stand Up Paddle boarders from Mackay, who competed in the 12 Towers Sup Event in March. They both qualified for the Australian Sup Titles We have a lot of very experienced paddlers right here in Mackay. If it’s SUP, you want to get into, come and see us here at Pro Paddle Mackay, or if outrigging interests you - contact one of our local outrigging clubs to start your paddling journey. 17.01.2022 NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS, PADDLERS I’m taking a new direction for 2020 and have decided to close Pro Paddle Mackay. My last trading day will be November 30, 2019. This is the date my insurance is valid to. We have been getting some amazing weather, so be sure to come on down, if this is something you’ve always wanted to try. VOUCHERS- there are a lot of vouchers out there that are still valid. Please take action now and give me a call to book yourself in. Many have been g...ifts and I’ve also provided many in the form of donations for lots of community events. Don’t let them go to waste. 16.01.2022 Pro Paddle Mackay is proud to be on board and involved in the Mackay City Council, Try the 5, get active campaign. I will be running some free ‘come and try’ sessions on Wednesday 15th May, which is during Water Week. There will be 4 session times: 7-7.30am, 7.45-8.15am, 8.30-9am and 9.15-9.45am. 12.01.2022 Hi All, Some changes will be happening for the next few months over winter. I have a lot going on paddling wise with different events and most of these are held on weekends. Occasionally I can get another instructor in, but not always. So I’ve made a decision to not open on Saturday’s until further notice. I will be available during the week, however I am moving away from retail, and will no longer be sitting in the shop. Lessons and hire will be held by calling me and ...booking in the day and time. Winter days are gorgeous, so all those with vouchers- now is the best time to use them. No stinger suits, clear water and blue skies. 07.01.2022 Another year of Year 9 Camp Week completed. This is the 5th year that Pro Paddle has provided stand up paddle boards sessions to over 100 students across the 5 days. Thank you to all the students that attended. All groups were fantastic to work with, which makes our job all the more easier.

Super proud of our Australian team who placed 8th across the line out of 71 canoes and 2nd place in the Masters 40+ division, in the Na Wahine O Ke Kai race in Hawaii ~ 72km changeover race across the Kaiwi Channel from Molokai to Oahu

04.01.2022 Some Pics from the Try the 5- Come and Try SUP morning. It was wet and windy with a little bit of sunshine thrown in, but we all had a great time on the water (in my case ‘in the water’). Yes, I took a fall, doesn’t happen often but we got a giggle out of it. Great initiative from Mackay Regional Council to get people out trying new activities. This week is Gym/Personal Training week.
