There will also be a jumping castle, train rides and Queensland Zoo available for the kids and organic coffee and gourmet food will be plentiful.Entry is $2; your ticket to froth over the likes of a multiple award winning 1970 Plymouth Satellite street machine, a trophy winning 1984 VK Commodore and Queensland’s only Porsche GT2 RS, just to name a few of the pristine cars that will be there for the viewing pleasure of event attendees.A beautiful car driving down the street will turn heads, attracting the admiration of those who love cars, those who like impeccable design or even those who simply like expensive, pretty things, said Dean Croyden, Big Pineapple manager.This event will give everyone a chance to check out some beautiful vehicles, he said.The Big Pineapple intends to run this as a monthly event and in order to keep it interesting we will theme the future events for specific types of cars, said Dean.For example we might have one that is aimed at hotrods or exotic cars but that is not to say all types aren’t welcome as we are enthusiasts that enjoy all styles and types of cars, said Dean.The Queensland Zoo, located just metres from the main event area, will be hosting roving animal demonstrations and interactions for kids and adults to get up close and personal with some of the exciting wildlife they have at the zoo.
