Currently Dave is ranging our frozen pasties that are ideal to take home and eat when the mood strikes.. Our frozen pasties seal their freshness and... taste beautiful when eaten hot straight from the oven. I hope it doesn’t sound disingenuous but the feedback we get from you has blown us away. Especially over Xmas where, as a small business, with the pandemic etc, there is always the risk that you will not re-emerge. However, we have been somewhat surprised at the orders that we have received & gobsmacked by the generous feedback, especially by our Cornish customers, hardened with generations of innate knowledge of this amazing food that they have shared with the world. This is so important to us - to know that such an emotive product as the humble pasty, that has so many failure points en rote to perfection has taken so many of you back home and made you happy, just for a few minutes of your busy day. That genuinely means more to me than you would believe and it makes us confident that our products are of the high standards that you rightly command of them. We always feel there is room for improvement and ask that you help us with your continued feedback whether good or bad. What does this mean to you.. We will hopefully be around for a while yet..we are a small & very busy business, with outstanding customers, some of which have had to be patient at times. I had to wait for years to get a decent Cornish Pasty here and even then I had to make it myself so we do not want a City of foodies to go back without Fast Food Royalty like the Oggy..As such we will enhancing our Onlne Store model with the introduction of a new online ordering tool that will take orders 24/7 and/or via FB and we can ship our pasties (frozen / cooked & chilled) interstate across Australia. 06.01.2022 COVID We have taken the difficult decision to close our Pick-up in Orchard Road today due to the current COVID outbreak. We can have very busy spells at times on Saturdays and do not want to risk the safety of our customers or ourselves, especially at this time of the year. To prevent our local customers from going without, we are offering free contactless delivery of Cornish Pasties only (no other flavours) and have reduced the minimum order number to 4. We will do our best... to fit everyone in but please be patient as your delivery may take a small while and we will extend the offer into Sunday if necessary.. 06.01.2022 So we are officially back from UK and back & in full Pasty production from this week onwards - We spent some very treasured ( & useful) time in Cornwall & Devon. Various Westcountry folk tested our Cornish Pasties against the very best that Cornwall had to offer & we received so many compliments , especially regarding content, consistency & pastry. The general theme is that they are as good as anything available locally in Cornwall & Devon. Whilst we are flattered with res...ponses on our pasties there, I reckon Ive picked up a couple of little things that will make them even better. So, try them out if you havent already , and let us know what you think. Remember that all we want is for you to enjoy a Proper Cornish Pasty , as you remember them & as they are meant to be. We have big plans for this year & we are also hoping to bring out some additional products over the next quarter that our customers have said they cannot get here - watch this space & jump aboard.

05.01.2022 Proper Pasty Pick-up So the end the first full week for our Proper Pasty Pick-Up and it has been proper amazing. Great to meet so many people that , until now, we only knew by their various usernames and so good to see so many of our customers converge upon Brookvale. The Northern Beaches was awash with the creamy tones of westcountry dialects!! Feedback has been, as ever , slightly humbling . We are just so pleased that so many of you appreciate the pasties that are now ava...ilable to you and also the amazing coffees that our barista Zak somehow produces. We will most likely be opening on saturdays soon for a few hours to allow those who can get to us on weekdays, the chance to come by & see us. Online orders will be re-launched soon and we will be commencing our first weekly special at our Pasty Pick-up, on Monday, with a long-awaited little Christmas Cracker, only available from us at 53 Orchard Road, Brookvale. 04.01.2022 Proper Pasty Company - 5G Sausage Rolls Here at The Proper Pasty Company, we are always seeking ways to improve customer experience in whichever way possible. Our celebrated sausage Rolls are popular far & wide and have little room for improvement. One area where we felt that it needed work though, was its 5G reception. Up until just a week ago, these sausage rolls could barely pick up a signal - in fact even with a direct NBN FTTN connection, TV signal was flakey and char...acters from the Bold & the Beautiful were unrecognisable. However, once we added extra bacon and fried the onion in butter, the signal was transformed. We managed to stream the Arsenal V Newcastle match with no lag whatsoever and crystal clear pictures, with deep blacks and vibrant colours. Using the sausage rolls as a standalone wi-fi router, results improved further still. There was some white noise at times but this can easily be managed by the addition of small amounts of ketchup. Whilst our sausage rolls are perfect for individuals with light data use, we would advise looking at other pastries for heavier requirements for a fixed site, such as our family pasty box that includes 2 X Jumbo Cornish Pasties 1 X Berry & banana smoothie and a muffin ( with unltd data) . **For best results, ALWAYS consult a Communications Specialist first.

02.01.2022 Finally a chance to put something on FB - This week at our Pasty Pick-up was our busiest since opening- we have met so many new customers that have heard of us and came t check out our wares in the hope of sating their ( often years long), pasty cravings in Sydney. We have met more people (again) from St. Agnes ( which I’m sure must actually have several million people living there!!) and demand for our Pasties was higher than ever before - thanks in no small part to the ...introduction of our new Pixi Pasties . A little larger than half the size of a normal Pasty, Friday’s flavours were -Bacon, cheese, Leek & Potato in a mustard cream - -Mushroom, asparagus, Potato & leek, in a garlic sauce. Both sold out out twice within less than 1 hour and feedback was amazing - come in & judge for yourself with a cup of NoLabel coffee. We will be stocking these regularly now with other flavours , so that you can get across all our amazing flavours without completely pigging out !. Thank you so much to Princess Sanchia who visited us & inspired our Pixi Pasties. Not only does she descend directly from the Spanish Aristocracy, she also comes from St. Just where her mum often made their own Pixi Pasties in true Cornish style.
