19.01.2022 Please ensure the correct suburb is quoted when advertising properties. There has been an increase in advertisements showing a neighbouring suburb instead of the address as identified on the property title. This practice could constitute false or misleading advertising.... ie Oakdowns advertised but Rokeby on title (Sth) Deloraine advertised but Caveside on title (Nth West) Waverley advertised but Ravenswood on title (Nth)

08.01.2022 What to Call Yourself The Board has noticed a growing number of Facebook pages with titles such as John Smith For Property or John Smith Property. This term, used on Facebook pages, implies that the person has their own real estate agency business.... The Board refers you to the Social Media Guidelines to Property Agents which can be accessed on the Board’s website www.propertyagentsboard.com.au under Publications. The Board suggests that individuals amend Facebook pages which do not comply with the legislation.
