16.02.2022 Fitting mirrors is something we can see ourselves doing! This iconic 1937 building in the city managed by Smithwick Strata Services required a modern fire control panel. We were engaged to make it look good! Jono N custom fabricated a new jarrah framed mirror door to compliment the existing decor and together with Derek fitted it off to the original beautiful jarrah cabinetry in the foyer.

25.01.2022 Another balcony tiling repair - this time in a West Perth penthouse suite. Couple extra floor drains and an overflow drain with gentle fall on the tile surface to prevent puddling. Recent rains have proved our workmanship in resolving the water leak problem into the downstairs lounge - and the end result looks pretty good too! All makes for a very happy owner (who would now like the bathrooms done!)

22.01.2022 Pretty neat gutter replacement on this one - even with challenging access. But the views across the Swan River to the city do make up for the challenge!

22.01.2022 The storm front that swept through Perth yesterday kept the team busy - buildings south of Mandurah, Maylands, Perth City and near Scarborough all received urgent repairs by the team to repair leaks, make safe loose flashings and repair roof sheeting.

19.01.2022 Sprucing up the carpark entrance to the lifts at a high rise in South Perth. Not often we do things by halves - but we had to this time... half at a time to maintain full access at all times. From a rough surface through to machine dustless grinding and a couple of top coats of non-slip finish - it's so nice you'd hardly want to head up to your apartment!

18.01.2022 One of the many bathroom renovations we have completed! This timelapsed video shows the process of putting down a waterproof coat on top of the newly laid screed!

18.01.2022 Meanwhile, over in Como, some new stainless steel mesh gutter guard. Even though only the occasional magpie will see it, the attention to detail from the team is excellent and the screen will keep out the gum leaves for many years!

17.01.2022 Another water proofing and tiling project completed before the winter rains. These balconies were leaking so bad that stalactites were forming! Another 1000 years and the Maylands Caves would have been a tourist attraction. Another happy client who took the time to share... "I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Property Care, responsible for the repair and retiling of my, and two other balconies in the complex.... The team leader is to be commended. His manner was both friendly and professional, and he kept us informed each day as to what work would be undertaken. I am really happy with the completed job, and the workmanship from the team". 17.01.2022 The joys of living near the coast. Fixing bolts to balustrade rust and spall the brickwork. We cut out the split bricks, cleaned up the balustrade and re-secured with coastal rated fixings. Like a new one...

15.01.2022 One small step for man... gets annoying after a while. So we got rid of the step and made it a ramp instead. Very happy clients... love your work Alex!

14.01.2022 It's not just the apprentice that needs new boots... roof ventilation pipes need new 'boots' too. And yes, we still sealed and screwed the new one down to make it water tight and ready for winter... A top view on these crisp mornings makes the job just that little bit more enjoyable...

10.01.2022 Making the most of the time when (most) people take holidays and car parks are empty in the cbd. High pressure steam cleaning this office car park. Satisfying work and spotless results. And 150 degree water on a 40 degree day saves on trips to the sauna!

10.01.2022 If you can’t tell the difference between before and after pics, then we’ve succeeded! We recently changed this old sectional garage door to a new sliding aluminium gate to match the same design. Other than the old door going up and down and the new gate sliding sideways, the attention to detail means you wouldn’t pick the difference.

09.01.2022 Recently gave this little laundry a new roof. Now the dryer will have a chance of staying dry!

09.01.2022 Made a huge difference to the centre courtyard paving, walls and garden features by removal of bore water iron staining and pressure cleaning. Came up a treat and the owners were very happy. We will be installing a dosing system to the bore to prevent future staining. Feedback from a COO member to the strata manager... Just to let you know that the guys have done a great job in the courtyard.... Please convey our thanks to Mark, particularly for sending such capable and pleasant workers who were at pains to do a good job.

07.01.2022 Unless you're a Mac user, you'll know that windows occasionally need to be updated... This update should be good for another twenty years. Fabricated and install some solid timber windows to match original design to maintain the décor of this Elizabethan style residence. And now for the render and timber repair... Abode Strata

05.01.2022 Water features at your house can be very nice - unless they're coming from the ceiling in the main bedroom. Prompt attention kept the resultant damage to a minimum. Plumbers attended to the hole in the copper pipe, we attended with wet vacs and dehumidifiers and in no time at all the damaged section of ceiling was replaced, patched and repainted like new!
