10.01.2022 Dear Hiri supporters, First of all - thank you to all of you for following our journey and being our number 1 fans. We have an announcement to make: We are changing our name. Starting 7/3/20 we will be called ProReef. We believe that this name resonates well with the opportunities and the brand that we would like to create. ... We see tourists as the solution and not the problem to reef degradation. We will of course continue our work with communities through partnerships (i.e. EEMPA - East Melanasia Marine Park Initiative). Deb and Igo have decided to play to their strengths and separate into two different organisations. So although this may be the end of "Hiri", it is just the beginning for ProReef (Led by Deb) and EEMPA (Led by Igo). Stay tuned for more updates soon. See below for our new image... Let's keep planting!

07.01.2022 We are so proud of Kevin who was first introduced to coral restoration by Hiri and is now leading his own village in continuing these efforts. Hats off

We are currently developing educational tours for schools around the Gold Coast - If you or someone you know may be interested in booking ProReef for school workshops covering coral reefs, marine biology and more, please send them our way!
