12.01.2022 Grind and seal with crushed glass and marbles. For anyone wanting to add decrorative glass, it really should be tumbled glass because the concrete wont stick to the smooth glass and marbles. They will pop out and will look horrible grouted. It will have to be a grind and seal as you wont get the high end mpc finish.

11.01.2022 Thinking that all polished concrete floors are the same. Be careful because some contractors will tell you a grind and seal is polished concrete. We use 2 types of systems. There is a huge price difference and a difference in quality so be sure you know what your asking for and what you are offered. 1. 800 - 3000 grit Mechanically Polished Concrete. Perfect for domestic and commercial floors etc. Must be 32 Mpa concrete. This finish is the ultimate high in high end and will n...ever scratch. This is at minimum a 15 step process. 2. Guard type polished concrete. Pentraguard/C2 seal etc. A less durable but easy to maintain. Ideal for domestic and commercial applications. This type of finish looks like mechanically polished concrete but guard will scuff and wear. Cheaper then mpc, pefect for older damaged floors and lower quality concrete that cannot be mechanically polished.
