24.01.2022 THANK YOU - VOLUNTEERS - TURF DAY - The project included the removal of existing grass on 13th &18th tee. Leveling of 18th tee & extending the current 13th tee. The extension will easily provide an additional 100sqm of flat hitting area compared to the old 13th tee. In all 300sqm of turf was laid Wednesday 25/11/2020. Huge thanks to our volunteers.-- Peter Krause, Trevor Paroz, Rod Wrecker, Bill Woods, Keith McGuire, Brian Smith, Warren Deighton and Scott Morrissey. Last we...ek Willy Faust donated his excavator and bobcat. Kelvin Stephens operated this machinery, taking a few days off from his annual leave. Adam Stroud donated his roller, laser grader and bobcat and also 2 truckloads of fill, all at no cost to the club. He operated the laser grader and bobcat, giving us a nice finished flat surface to lay the turf on. Rod Wecker and Merv Hinton volunteered their time last Mon/Tue, taking turns in watering and operating the roller and assisting our operators. Rob Stanley See more
