22.01.2022 Hi everyone. The Prospect Hill Community Association would like to thank you for your patience during these crazy times. The museum is now undergoing a revamp of all its displays. This is not an easy task as we have just uncovered large historical records in varied forms (paper, photo, slides) and it all needs to be catalogued before going on display.... The current crisis has allowed us to focus on bringing you a more exciting and defined display of life in Prospect Hill since its settlement. We are also looking to find history before this. So, we thank you for your ongoing patience and we will inform you the moment we are ready to open again. Please keep checking this page and let us know you are waiting. The Prospect Hill District Newsletter is still being printed with stories of behind the scenes. If you are interested, please PM the page with your email address as we can send you an electronic copy. We will also add little stories here. We cannot wait to see you when we open again.

13.01.2022 I would like to thank everyone that has contacted us in the past few weeks. Unfortunately, we have had to make the decision not to reopen yet. We will let everyone know as soon as we do. Meanwhile, here are some interesting items I found at the museum last weekend. Enjoy! Prospect Hill's Scouts has a rich history. They are still operating and are currently looking for leaders.

09.01.2022 Dear Prospect Hill. Here is a beautiful way to reach out in the community. We did with the teddy bears and with the ANZAC day tributes. Now, how about Christmas? What will your display hold? Please check in with the official page but let's get Prospect Hill on the map with our displays. Feel free to send us your photos to pop up too. Start planning....

04.01.2022 A bit of a catch up..... Hello and I hope this finds you all well at this crazy time. I thought I would give you a quick catch up on what has been happening at the museum during lock down. We have seen a renovation project begin in the Grigg's old family home. The kitchen and back end of the house is having new floors put in and some repairs to the wet areas.... The school house has had an exterior make over with a paint job and new windows. The new display shed is still going along. The engine shed has been a busy hive with volunteers working on engines, motors and pumps. There has been some new handles attached to some marvellous examples of old farming tools Now we are beginning with the internal displays. We need to give the museum a thorough clean and check on all the displays. So, if you would like to help out, please contact us and we will get a working bee happening. We hope to reopen in Spring at this stage.
