25.01.2022 Happy 35th Birthday ROXY! We love that you are always making sure our clients have 5 star customer service and that you cant open your eyes for a photo!

24.01.2022 Whos got one If you answered yes you are ahead of the crowd. Most families dont and it is scary to think what else you may not be prepared for? A budget is one of the most important financial tools you can have. You dont need to see a financial planner, accountant or a broker to create one! ... If you have excel... there are pre-made budgets ready to go all you need to do is enter your personal information to customise it to your family. Once you have a budget it is easy to see where your money goes each week or month and why you cant afford to save or buy those new shoes you have been wanting! Dont get me started on by now pay later and credit cards! You are much savvier with your money if it not borrowed, right If you had saved for 3 months $1,000 and you had it in your wallet or in the bank would you really go and buy that new toy? We have been conditioned to spend beyond our means and it is the reason most millennials cant afford to buy a home or have savings when there is an emergency like COVID-19. I have 3 simple tips for becoming financially literate: 1. Budget 2. Pay debts off first 3. Have a financial plan... maybe even some goals? Often I see people with $10,000 in credit card debt paying 20% interest and then in another account $10,000 in savings! No, if you have a plan and you have proven it will work there is an exception but to the math Gods this is just crazy it is costing you $2,000 a year in interest!!!! Pay your debts off First! Everyone should have a plan it is different to a budget the budget is how you get to the plan. The plan is to save $50,000 in 2 years and the budget is you need to budget $2,083 p/m. This is basic finance and it is something that a lot of people are put off by, trust me I know! There is no better time to make a budget and a plan for your financial future. Feel free to ask me any questions, there is no question that sounds silly to me! Rory

18.01.2022 60% of our customers have a complex scenario, This is where Rory excels.

18.01.2022 Over the last 2 months when I have been doing my routine credit checks, Ive come across some shocking conduct on my clients credit scores. The most worrying part about this is often the client has an agreement with the bank due to downturn in income so they have a payment holiday in place. If the bank does not document this properly it can heavily affect your credit score and quite simply, you will NOT be eligible for finance, it takes around 6 weeks to correct an error on ...your credit score! Did you know on your credit score I can see the following: 1) Every single credit facility you have open, the limit, and when each repayment is made and if its missed you get a mark on that line of credit. 2) Every loan or credit card you have enquired about recently (yes if your bank called and offered you a credit card 2 years ago and you said no, thats probably going to show up for me) 3) Your employee history, address history, past names and SO SO much more. Honestly Im fascinated by credit scores if you want me to check yours and I mean get you the real deal, not what is offered for free online. PM me, Its $40 and Ill give you a full rundown of how its looking! Lastly, the best way to protect your credit score is to use a broker, we can pre-qualify your ability to obtain finance and make sure there are no unwanted enquires on there! Have a great day and make sure to pay those debts on time!

17.01.2022 JobKeeper Extended!!! Here are the key takeaways you need to know: No Changes to existing payments due to end on Sept 27th 2020... To continue on payments from September 28th you will need to be re-assessed as still suffering 30% downturn in turnover in both the march quarter and September quarter (check the fact sheet for additional info) Payments from Sept 28th 2020 to Jan 3rd 2021 will be paid at stepped down rates: $1,200 per fortnight for all eligible employees who, in the four weeks of pay periods before 1 March 2020, were working in the business or not-for-profit for 20 hours or more a week on average, and for eligible business participants who were actively engaged in the business for 20 hours or more per week on average in the month of February 2020. $750 per fortnight for eligible employees & business participants who worked less than 20 hours in the 4 weeks prior to 1 March 2020. You need to be assessed again in Jan 2021 to continue to receive payments until March 2021 (30% downturn rules apply again) Payments from 4 January 2021 to 28 March 2021 will be paid at stepped down rates: $1,000 per fortnight for all eligible employees who, in the four weeks of pay periods before 1 March 2020, were working in the business or not-for-profit for 20 hours or more a week on average, and for eligible business participants who were actively engaged in the business for 20 hours or more per week on average in the month of February 2020. $650 per fortnight for eligible employees & business participants who worked less than 20 hours in the 4 weeks prior to 1 March 2020. 16.01.2022 CASH FLOW Even as a Finance Broker, Im the first one to say loans are not the answer to cash flow! Cash flow is derived from Cash IN cash OUT pretty simple right? ... Why do so many businesses get it wrong and how can you make your dollars go the distance? Firstly what are your invoice payment terms 30 days, 60 days, and then what are your bills, employee wages and other expenses weekly, monthly? It can some times be as simple as moving around dates and payment terms to make sure you have the money you need, when you need it. There are many ways you can ensure your cash flow is strong but in the example above you may only be a few weeks out of sync and that is when a cash flow loan can help you get back on track. If you are always searching for money and your bank account is saying something different to your profit and loss you should seek some advice on how to get it back on track. This will give you more time to work on income generating activities instead of worrying about whos going to pay on time or where you are going to get the money to pay the wages. If this is your current issue please contact us so we can help. Let Rory help you with a cash flow health check and show you under the hood of how the banks/Accountants are looking at your business and more importantly where is your money is going!! Call him directly on 0420 907 244 or the office 1300 334 514
